Painting Question

Postby KitKat » Wed Aug 28, 2013 10:21 am

Hey guys, I painted a portion of an action figure, a Beast Saga figure, and the paint went on really well. Problem, after the paint dried it is still tacky. I've even sealed the damn thing with Tamiya Color Clear Spray, but it's still tacky. Is there anything else I can do?

Toss it in a box with some silica pellet packets for a while? That helped me with some gloss that inexplicably went tacky...

If that doesn't work, talcum powder is wonderful for getting rid of tackiness without changing the appearance of the paint.

Would these tips work with brush-on acrylic sealer too? Just wondering cause I have some that just stays horribly sticky.
