OK you both officially rock. Him, for saving and obtaining it, and you for "getting it" why he wanted one.

Heh, it's even better than that...Fiberglass Freaks is our business. For the first time, a Bat-replica builder has been granted official DC permission to step out of the 'grey area' and produce licenced cars, able to legally use the name 'Batmobile' in referring to their cars and to *advertise*.

That being said...he's loved the car since he was a child. We met 20+ years ago while he was building the very first version, and I ended up helping him that entire summer. And he has poured his heart and soul into this business. (the last several years it's been much more a going concern than our film and video business.)
He is the kind of person who will set himself a goal and slog hard, through all adversity, to reach it. And now he has reached this. Where it will take us from here- who can guess? I will echo your sentiment, VV- he does rock, immensely.

And I do apologize for being a bit cryptic with the announcement. We've been in discussions and negotiations with DC about this since 2007. So as you can imagine, Mark and I were both a bit excited when the signed us-and-them contract *finally* arrived in our hands.

(And yes, the cars are gorgeous. Taking a ride in one is a serious blast.)

Wait...A GUY named Wendy? That's a first for me!

When I was in middle school I was on the school bus one morning. The bus was driving down a street with vineyards on both sides, and suddenly we were in the middle of a huge flock of sheep (the ranchers use sheep to trim back the vines). The bus had to stop completely, then slowly inch its way through this massive woolly sea.

My new character is happily settled into her 25cm body. And my males are comfortable with having a younger girl in the house (it helps that they are kinda familiar with where she originates from). All she needs now is a wig

When to a dolly tea party today. Great time.

I'm listening to the radio and they're replaying an American Top 40 broadcast from this week in 86. I still love many of these tunes.

As of today, my last headless doll finally has his head!~

Once I finish up a few more projects, I'm going to try my hand at making urethane eyes. I've been wanting to try that for a while. I have a rough idea of how to approach it, I just need the time. X3
