Not my sucks but a friend's sucks: her entire department was laid off today and she's getting married in October. Awful timing is awful!

I am 41 and still don't know. Apparently, being me isn't good enough, according to my family.

Anything that starts or ends with "according to my family" needs to be summarily thrown out the window.

According to MY family, I need to get rid of my stuffed animals because I'm an adult.

My grandmother is always talking about how amazing my brother is (who she adopted when we were young). When I'm over there, he yells at her and throws a fit when he doesn't get what he wants... he is 22 O.o He finally got a job and they are still paying for everything.
But of course, I'M the one that makes up stories to get at him and I NEED to get MY crap together and take school more seriously and I'M the only one that has ever done anything wrong.
I'm really not jealous of him, we actually used to get along very well. As we got older, we just stopped talking and playing games so now it's just kind of weird. My boyfriend spends more time with him than I do lol. It's the only real reason my grandmother likes him

There's this guy at work who keeps harassing me by asking me to send him pictures of myself and trying to get me to go on a date with him. *Groans loudly* Why? I'm not even that traditionally attractive.

You only have to tell him 'no' once; after that, it's considered sexual harassment. Check your company's policy on sexual harassment and follow their procedure on how to report him. By law they have to have one. Write down dates and times he has bugged you and if he's sent emails, keep a copy of them. They are evidence. You don't have to put up with that crap.

I believe we are supposed to talk to our managers about that and if they don't do anything, we work our way up. >.> been a year since I have read the policy on it, but something like that
Im thinking about quitting. I have worked 30-90 mins past my scheduled time every day this week and they were long/late shifts, almost each time was because of managers not doing their jobs and overnight cashiers not being where they are supposed to be. I am exhausted long before my shift ends, it takes 6 motrin to get through a shift, and a 40 minute drive home. It is not a fun drive home.

Kae, don't you work at Walmart? You can bypass your managers and supervisors and call corporate through the Open Door Policy. Don't wait. Even if you do decide to quit, this guy will be finding someone else to harass and needs to be put on notice that sexual harassment is a crime, not a cutesie high school joke.

Spiral is the one being harassed, I'm just having issues with poor management/workers We work at the same Wamlart though. I knew there was something we could call, I just didn't know what it was xP
