Watching the Stones broadcast from Glastonbury - Ye gods they look ridiculous. Yet another rock group pretending that they're still all in their twenties... Only Keith looks as though he's not trying too hard! It doesn't help that being live the sound levels/mix aren't quite right so it doesn't sound quite as it should

Edit: The giant flaming turkey/whatever is cool though... ...And Mick's just ruined it...

Don't make the 'Oo kick their arses, although that might be a better show. Pete's gone so crazy he brought back souvenirs.

Has anyone else noticed that Disney seems to have this running joke about punctuality? I mean it shows up in Alladin and Mulan(and possibly some others I haven't noticed). I mean, why?

How I try to categorise the various eyes I have:

From what I've got to hand - on the left is "human" or near enough, humanoid eyes. And on the right, magical, scifi/special eyes. I try to sort them by the degree of luminosity, strange styles/colours. But not always

Really really like the look of these "fantasy" eyecos - got them for my saint (who wont be here anytime soon...) since I've heard the mould has really shallow eyewells. Though it doesn't show very well they're so so bright!

~makes grabby hand at the eye with the gears in it~

Trying a doll crochet pattern from a book and wondering why it doesn't fit right on the doll it was designed for. I already had to add a row to make it long enough in the body, kept trying it on the doll, and it looks like another row wouldn't have hurt at the neck line.

 That was exactly my response when I saw it! Though it doesn't have a doll yet... I was hoping it would fit my Benedict Cumberbatch MNM, since 14mms are a bit too big even, but it seems that particular 12mm is a bit small/too high - since other 12mms I've got seem to fit him with negligible gapping.

Most of the eyes there are cheapo much less than £10 things - but I honestly can't see much quality difference between those and the more costly ones. Then again I don't any that are really expensive! (I've seen $50-$100 pairs on the marketplace, and they don't look all that different to loads of the generic glass ones in photos - but I can't judge them too much not having seen any in real life)
