I was worrying over you just yesterday actually! I know you mentioned your FIL and other issues, but didn't know about you getting sick! I'm sorry about your loss and hope you are feeling healthy again; I do hope things will get back to normal for you now. And can I selfishly say I hope to see you back here often again?

I've been gone from the Dollieh World for so long I figured no one would even remember me.

SInce the dolls are good therapy for me- I hope hope hope their magic starts working for me again. I have ongoing chronic tummy issues that don't do well with stress, and this year has been pretty much wall-to-wall.

Thanks so much for the sweet and kind words- I hope I can start back here again too. I was planning to do some photostory shooting yesterday- and of course it has been dark and overcast and rainy. ERg.

He CUT it. I guess he got tired of being called The Freak. But since he cut it his game has gone all to hell. I think he should grow it back- me and about a million other fans.

More blood testsssss!

I'm asking for thoughts and prayers. Lesser suck is that our dog got out for the second time in less than a week so it looks like we are going to have to find a way to afford to put a new fence up. That may well include canceling our trip to Orlando for my daughter's 18th birthday.... But that's better than Tucker getting out by the busy road again and getting struck by a car, because that's how far he ran this time.

Much bigger suck is that my father-in-law is in the hospital. It seems he was dealing with pneumonia and got fluid in his abdomen somehow and was having breathing problems. They did an EKG and determined he didn't have a blood clot in his lungs and he was supposed to go for further tests this week. Last night he couldn't breath and was admitted to the hospital. He's there under observation right now. This is a man who is in his late 60s and has never had any health issues to my knowledge. Needless to say, my husband is distraught. He's on his way home from work and we'll have to tell our daughter.

So, yeah. Prayers please.

That's a tough situation, Kirahfaye. My grandfather had a similar situation, but we found out he had some odd kind of leukemia that was causing it. It had something to do with the white blood cells. I'm praying for you!

I just got a call from school... so I need to go digging through boxes at my mom's house to find my ss card.... so I can fax it to school. Getting blood work tomorrow again, for school... My stress level is through the roof because this is adding to a pretty awful day.. work went to hell because my coworker's mom passed last night... and I feel terrible for her and am trying to cover for her.... since we're a little business, finding out some other info my mom promised she had for me was gone and all that... it's.. just sucky... and I am kinda dealing with it alone. Boyfriend has school and work and I have no close friends.

A minor suck, well... sort of major. I may have tourettes. (But no, I don't randomly shout swear words.) So weirded out by this. Will have to go to the Maudsley Hospital (in London) for a proper diagnosis. Weird.

My thoughts are with everyone - It sounds like it's been a pretty awful time all around.

Latest suck - One thing, I need my supervisor to do one thing, and he doesn't. FFS this project will get nowhere with no polymer; I now have a month to do what I should have had a whole year to, and still no bloody polymer! As far as I was aware, each Masters student project is given some cash by the university budget (Given being a rather loose term, since I'm actually paying through the nose for the dubious honour of being "educated" here), but my supervisor is acting as though it's his own cash. The alternate polymer I suggested has been deemed too expensive, so I'm stuck with only using one type, where really I should be using two. Methinks he overspent this allowance earlier in the year, so now it's my turn the cash has run out. (He's the type to have his own special storage place in the lab, and I use the term loosely - said storage space is actually a very expensive bit of kit, that keeps a steady environment. When everyone else is forced to use communal ones)
