Is there anyone further up the chain above your supervisor you could take this to? I'm not sure what good it would do in practical terms unless you can get an extension because of his incompetence?

I have done, with the Course Head - but beyond sympathy, and hints that he will not be given any masters students next year (Evilly Gleeful about this), there's not much that can be done about it really - I just need to work my arse off these next few weeks and hope that it'll be enough. Actually I wonder how his other masters student is doing, I've not seen him in the lab yet once... Every time we've had a "group meeting" our shared supervisor has told him to go and do the same thing before he'll let him into the lab - despite the fact that as far as I can tell he has done...

*first world problem* when the meds you are taking requires you to eat food with them and your'e too lazy to get something to eat.
Oh yeah, went to the doctor today.... He didn't know either =D but at least he had a a couple of ideas.... unlike my last doctor =__=

idk what it is about me, but it's starting to seem like EVERYONE thinks I'm the person to go to when they need money. I have this friend who has been jobless until recently, and she wont get her first check till next week. She asked if she could borrow "only $100", which was raised to $160. Idk what kind of money she thinks I have, but I'm a freakin college student that works for walmart =__= That's more than half of my check for this pay period T__T

Vetinari - I can understand you feeling a bit gleeful over that. I would too. I just hope all you're able to do pays off.

Kae 915 - a doc once told me food can be as little as a couple of biscuits and some milk.

My 20-something son was in a minor car accident this morning. He's fine but, his Audi will need a few thousand dollars worth of work & will probably be in the shop for a few weeks. It was a big SUV turning out of a gas station that hit the back quarter panel of his car as he was just pulling up to a red light, so both were moving fairly slowly. We are sending him to the chiropractor just in case. She was at fault and got a ticket (+2 points!) and is insured, so it seems like this will count as a minor suck, with just a bit of stress all around. (This is why mothers get gray hairs!) And I did offer to let him drive my Fusion, but apparently his dad's 1970's junker gas-hog pickup with the big motor is cooler. *eyeroll*

Well I am sick again. It's back to the hospital for more test. Arrrggg!

Ugh having talked the situation through with the guy who has the unusable polymer, I believe the sensible thing would be to use the unusable polymer, and simply write about why it didn't work. It's this or do a project that's an inferior copy of a project that happened a couple of years ago. I'll just have to pretend I wan't expecting it to all go wrong when it inevitably does

So the other morning when I was woke up and went to push the sheet off myself, I just put my hand right through the sheet... It has a huge rip in it now and isn't really useable as a cover anymore because of it.

I bought some new sheets, but they're not the saaaaaaame.

I am contemplating quitting my job =/ I enjoy the people I work with, but my manager won't work with me on my issues. I TOLD him I couldn't stay late because I had to take my meds and still be back in the morning =/ I ended up having to stay 30 mins over, which I could get in trouble for since they are almost working me overtime as scheduled. And this was the manager that knows I'm having issues.
