Cleaned up Tetty and Egon's heads in preparation for new face ups. It took forever to get them clean. My arms feel a bit tired and stringy.

I'm remodeling the doll shelf ... well, started to, then I ended up re-organizing half my room. I need a bigger doll shelf. -.-°

And I tried another polymer clay foods tutorial I found on dA, cherry pie this time ... here's what happened:

Okay maybe a bit creepier than I thought.
Now all I have to do is Lee's eyes, Usagi's face up, Tetty's face up, and Egons Face-up.

I am working on this character... He doesn't have a name yet... and I am having trouble coming up with one~!

Started a pair of sandals, built most of a chair before realizing I have no good way to upholster it.
Tomorrow(today?) I should sketch out exactly how I plan to do this face up, now I've got some spray to put it on and keep it on.

Still working on soft body for porcelain head. Lengthened the legs 7" more and find I need more
plastic armature, three feet wasnt enough!

I'm working on finishing the details on a couple of sock dresses for Aine and Alba. I just finished Aine's art wig. They swapped eyes. I want to work on Aine's face up but it's been raining like heck here, not the best weather for painting, and I really need more metallic paints and maybe one of those fake tattoos. I'm hitting Micheal's and Walmart tomorrow most likely. I'll probably pick some up then.

Not a project per say - in that there's no end goal... But well, got a sad stained head on evilbay (total fail there; didn't think to take any before shots... Doh! This head came together with the now identified Shiwoo, but I couldn't get out any of the staining, and the eye sockets have been very crudely opened up and then epoxied back from the looks of it) and well he/she/it has become my practice all the techniques head:

As you can see I only realised after it had set that I've got no sandpaper in this poxy flat with which to smooth down my milliput mods... So I gave him a quick mock-up face-up (and no being a terrible owner, and seeing as this guy is stained purple in places, I didn't bother with sealant - the milliput doesn't match the yellowed white colour of the underlying resin anyway so it'll all need to be covered up if I do decide to give this head a character)

The mods are: enlarged earlobes, a nose job, brow line redifined and a very crude chin alteration - all of which I intend to sand in eventually!

Edit: ...Oh dear... Continued to play with his "mock-up" and a character emerged from the mess... Faing MacLea: A scoundrel, a "Lepreccowne" from Eire-Lande who is obsessed with Rum and Whisky and Gold (and finding out how the hell Jareth got onto his ship The Bloody Big Boat in the middle of a calm-struck ocean). And yet another parallel Earth, this one entirely occupied by pirates, galleons, yet another evil government, and bizarre technology levels that are at once centuries behind our own and decades beyond our own... Crud! Crud Crud! I should not face-up floating heads, even practice ones! Every new face-up seemingly brings a new character... He's now sat on a human sized rum bottle (Which I have to admit I own purely for cake-making; I'm a whisky gal myself) claiming it as his temporary resting spot
