Beginning to seriously think about the logistics of a Drag Queen Dollieh, chicken fillets, corsets, ridculous heels - this is all sounding more and more like a reason to invest in some fabric and get sewing! ...I'm thinking focus on working out the how over the summer months, actually begin doing in autumn.

Still I have plenty of epoxy for "chicken fillet" experiments!

Also: Has anyone tried dyeing a Hujoo? My wings was supposed to be a goblin/sprite thing - but I was never happy with the results from trying to blush him alone. I've read a few conflicting things about ABS dyeing, but the method that I saw that seems to have the best uptake is a mix of 25% acetone, then the rest of the mix is concentrated dye - I've got easy access to Dylon dyes; and they've got a huge range of colours Another thing that will have to wait a while I think

If you find out anything, I'd be interested too, Vetinari! I want a Freyr, but I need him orange, and I don't want to blush his whole head and neck.

After a year, I finally worked on Myri's faceup again. I added eyebrows, eyeliner, more lip color and blushed her cheeks.

More headsculpt modding over here, getting the best mileage out of a bunch of old barbie heads.

I've learned a really neat trick there involving caulk that I think I'll go post in the tips and tricks section after I get some decent pictures.

Unfortunately for me, pictures at the moment means using Movie Maker to grab video, and make a screencap off the video, and then paste that into an image editor. Whee... I need to replace my old camera. XD But this trick would be worth it! I can do so many amazing things with plain ol Barbie heads with this and a cheap dremel/rotary tool...
