Got a chance to check out this little local bakery a block from my house. The lady was kinda rude... I'm guessing they don't get many new faces come in, but the donuts I got were so good, I may be willing to make myself a regular there.

that sounds really cool. (the bakery part, not the rude part, ha.) I love little places like that. There is a new coffee and pastry shop going in close to my house so I think I'll bike over there and grab a snack one day, maybe bring a book and read on the porch. It's good to get out once in a while.

I've been trying for days to get my room organized since I got home from A-kon. It's getting better but there's still a lot of crap I need to find a home for.

Just finished season six of Dr. Who. And since Netflix has yet to add season seven I found a place to download it. Dunno what I'm gonna do when I reach the end of it! Go through withdrawl, I think. XD

If it's a good show you can watch it again and again. All these years later and some times there's nothing better than a good Trek or Smallville episode.

Yep. That's how I feel about Buffy. I think I can sing along to the episode Once More, With Feeling by this point. lol

And, of course, I can practically quote the movie Labyrinth word-for-word. Heck, I was listening to the soundtrack just the other day, and on cue in the opening song, I started quoting Sarah's first lines out of habit. XD

I'm quoting myself as an update. HA! The coffee & desserts shop was not cool. They advertise themselves like a coffee shop. Maybe Starbucks has spoiled me but when I think "coffee shop" I think of a variety of coffee choices and nice deserts. They only had coffee. Just plain black diner coffee. And burgers. The desserts they had seemed okay but the two we tried weren't any good. Bland. I feel sorry for them. I always root for small business owners and choose private over chains when I can, but I don't think these gals will last very long. They were unprofessional, wore skeezy looking tank tops, and just didn't seem to have it together.

Well, that little rant aside, I saw on Think Geek a new Dr. Who doll, in 1:6 scale I believe. I thought the Whoovians would appreciate that.

https://www.thinkgeek.com/product/1284/?srp=1

It's only $19.99.

5.5 inches isn't 1/6 its more like 1/12 closer to the action figures. 10-12 inches is 1/6.
