you'd all be amused by me struggling with this stiff elastic. I still don't have it tightened up yet.

I was kind of disappointed with the Dr. Who episode Blink. I was looking forward to watching it, too. I mean, sure the weeping angels were a bit scary (and kinda cool), but they didn't actually KILL you, they just sent you back in time. They stole your life, but not your LIFE. What was the point of giving 'em teeth and scary faces if they didn't actually USE em? After hearing all the "OMG WEEPING ANGLES SCARY NOOOO!" comments on Facebook and such, it was sort of a letdown. Talk about over-hyped. It was a good episode but the angels definitely weren't the scariest monsters they've faced so far, especially after Daleks and such (who could probably kill you with just their voices alone *cringe*).

I haven't watched Blink but Season 5's 2 parter Time of angels. Didn't had much interest in checking out the good Doctor before then.

If anything it was creepy scary in how they creep up to you, make you doubt what you see and stuff. Sure they don't steal your LIFE but your life's potential time to come in the here on. But they're chasing you and get closer as you look away. How are you to know they won't dump you in the middle of a triceratops stampede?

lol Well, that's true. And yeah, they are creepy in that they can literally move in the blink of an eye.

Only just finished season 3 and am starting on season 4. Awhile back I happened to catch bits of an episode about shadows and such. THAT looked like a creepy one.

I think I've been watching a little too much Dr. Who, though. Every time I try to talk to someone, I keep catching myself trying to talk with a British accent and have to forcibly make myself talk normally. *facepalm* How does THAT work? lol

lol. I suppose when you watch a show or read a series long enough, certain mannerism attempt to grow on you.

I wasn't impressed by Blink, but Silence in the Library? THAT was creepy.

Midnight is the one that gets me - it makes for really uncomfortable viewing (though it does seem to divide opinion on that front; I know a few guys who hate it because it's more like a stage-play than a TV episode)

I also find the Family of Blood rather scary - not their scarecrows, just the idea of small malevolent child, and Harry Llloyd acting downright evil! (But I've got to admit I'm less of a fan of these 2 episodes than I should be, by simple dint of having fallen in love with the book they're based on first!)

Neil Gaiman's The Doctor's Wife is still my all time favourite episode though, the villain is quite creepy, but the whole episode just makes the fan in me squee!

I need to see The Doctor's Wife still, I just haven't been very Whovian of late.

Some of the old Twilight Zone episodes can be scary, apply People Are Alike All Over to what goes on in the modern internet age. If writers ever need creepy stuff look in to what happens with brain injuries and seizures. Ever had everything around you ripple making you think you've changed dimensions? Suddenly feel in touch with the universe? Are you sure those are your friends and family and not robot replacements or is it the same person in different disguises? Then you have to hope the spell passes or your brain rewires its self and returns to "normal".

I got this wild hair to build the dolls a couch or something so everyone has something to plop their bums on, and figured the best way would be to just scale down real designs. looking at the plans, now I want to build EVERYTHING
