Ok, new project. yay! I'm sewing my dad a Victorian vest for his birthday. We're members of SASS and we do a lot of period clothing events. It has been so long since I've sewn clothes I attached the sides before the shoulders. /facepalm. It was my crowning derp moment of the day. I should start recording my Derp-A-Day. HAHAHA... I want to coin that. But anyway, I got all the stay-stitches into place (that fabric was unraveling like crazy) and put in the darts and little details like that. I'm seriously thinking about making myself a new bustle gown. I've got a 1886 pattern I'd really like to try.
After that I'm hoping to sew up a few clothes for my MSD ladies. One I'm having commissioned so it will actually look good, hehe, but the other two I'm going to attempt to make myself. I'd better get crackin' cause my next series of photostories depend on a lot of crafts to be made. I was thinking about adding actual sets to the stories, to make them a little better. I think the Magical Anywhere Couch can only take us so far. Sorry for the long ramble. *goes to watch kitten videos on youtube*
