I was at Hobby Lobby during lunch today. I bought some Winsor and Newton acrylic medium...and some Masterpiece brush cleaner for acrylic paint. Dumb question...can the Masterpiece cleaner be used on resin? I asked for a fact sheet and got some really strange looks and was told there was "no such thing as a fact sheet fer this stuff". *sigh*

The reviews say the same thing, no instruction sheet/fact sheet. It just says it can be fatal if inhaled. *rolls eyes*

...Anyone have the Parabox Gretel elf ears?

Is it just the pair I got or do they just not fit? It's as though the moulds have warped or something; I knew that I'd need glue to hold them on, but they just look like those ridiculous cheap elf ears you get in spock costumes/at christmas...

(That and with the sealant/blushing on my Gretel head the skintones REALLY don't match...)

I am not used to someone wishing ill on me. I just spent an hour and a half strengthening all my personal wards, and putting some on my car. Someone apparently intended me to get into a car accident last night. I'm not going to retaliate, because the person putting out that kind of negativity is going to just end up having it backfire on them. The important part is that it didn't succeed, and Karma eventually comes back around.

...Just realised; I've only got one "normal" human amongst my whole bjd and floating head crew, and that's His Lordship so the case is arguable... What with his ridiculous Narritivium and Awesome-Field. And he's not even part of the main cast!

Hmm... This reads ridiculous but they're all variations on types of humanity really - species being only an interesting quirk of genetics rather than the massive game changing deal that ends up with MarySues everywhere... But still, what the hell happened?? I'm sure there should have been human members of this group! In fact at least 4 of them started out as such...

Suffering from hobby overload. Making three Civil War cloth dolls and needlepoint bookmarks for the museum I used to work for back east, two more cloth dolls as commissions, lots of bjd clothing for an upcoming doll show, several small craft examples for a lolita meetup, a full Civil war era dress and undergarments, a full Victorian taffeta bustle gown for a cosplay, AND now I can't stop staring at beautiful taxidermied animals. Someone turn my brain off for a bit please :<
