The catch? STINKS of smoke, and not just cigarettes... Just a whiff of it has given me a headache! I've febreezed it and it's airing - thinking in lieu of cat litter I might try dry oxyclean powder for clothes to try and absorb the smell

The thing with the litter is it's designed to absorb odors. Makes me wonder if stinky foot powder or carpet freshening powder would work.

I'll give it a go and report back - because of the flimsy material I'm a bit nervous of even a gentle hand wash - it's all gauzy with metallic thread running through it
