The little girl I mentor through Big Brothers is facsincated with my dolls and has been nagging for awhile to paint their faces, to which I always answer "No, but if you bring over some of your dolls, we can redo them".
So this weekend we did just that! Two of her Bratz got a makeover! she was so proud of her handywork.

Then she went on to try her hand at painting miniatures.

She's 10 and always talks down on "nerdy" things, so I didn't point out to her that she was enjoying a hobby for geeks!

Not a suck, really, but I am *so* tired. It's probably because I went to bed at 2:30 this morning thanks to someone snoring. Plus, I ended up recording 4 box sets of albums (4 records each), a bunch of albums with 2 records per album, and a ton of other records. The really cool thing is that I now have two full Ten Years After albums on my iPod. I shocked my husband because he was sort of listening to the music and said, "Wow honey. You're really digging through their older music. I didn't think you liked that!" I then went on to tell him why Alvin Lee is one of the best guitarists EVER. My son was non-plussed. He just said, "Where's the Hendrix stuff, Mom?"

And that's probably why I haven't done a lot with the dolls. I'm spending almost every weekend trying to record all of our albums. There's a BUNCH of them.

Haha, my sis likes my dolls. To the point that she asked me if there were any less pricey ones than mine ... for her XD If I ever get a decent job I might just give her one at some point.

I've been sucked back into Neopets. Which is why I haven't been on here for awhile, but I am still working on my dolls on the side. I made Kratos and Anna each a bow and quiver(full of arrows).

I got a mammogram today. it was a little weird, but the upside of losing weight is my boobs were extra squishable.


it was a little weird. and everyone should get one. and if you don't have insurance? the Koman foundation can get you one, AND funds for a biopsy if anything shows up. so no excuses, ladies.

*Gritted teeth* Yes MS Word I'm aware that I am using a Passive Voice, no I don't want to change it - you've ignored my passive tense for the last 6000 words or so, why are you suddenly flagging every new sentence now?? I am trying to write a methodology for a scientific paper you steaming turd of a software... I always try to ignore "grammar-check" since it's awful, but my OCD flares up when I can't remove the annoying green squiggles (the red squiggles are worse but I've long filled my dictionary - wtf microsoft??)
