I am directing the play Hedda Gabler (and costuming/designing it) on top of everything right now. One of my actors dropped off the face of the planet and so I am trying to get a replacement right now. Hopefully, for his sake, he doesn't pop up because I could probably scream at him right now for being a tool. If you make a commitment, stick with it... and don't screw around. It's letting a lot of people down.
Also... I just found out my stage manager is unexpectedly pregnant, the poor girl. She hasn't told her family yet, but wanted to let me know and told me she needed support. I am going to do my best, but it's for sure rough all around. I have to accommodate, but also need to run this production.

Oh, and I need a mock-up done of a Robe a la Francaise by Tuesday for the fitting.

So far I have it all draped, but not patterned. I've been busting my tail to get it done from scratch, but my shop manager is kinda being a jerk about it though I have spent every moment I can find working on it

It looks like the pattern I just drafted. My designer basically took it right out of a book... with a slight modification to the back. I just have to make it to this girl's exact size.

I can't get out of the house without falling on my arse. I could barely walk yesterday due to arthritis problems (which my office refuses to recognize as a disability, even with proper documentation). Today, I can't get down the stairs at my house due to the ice. I've fallen enough from arthritis issues (hips/spine/pinched nerves) that I'm not going to chance it. I'd rather be at work, for once, even though work lately has been a major PITA in the office with everyone coding their phones to mine. That would be okay, if I had access to the client accounts and could make corrections. Since I'm a receptionist, ba ha ha ha ha ha! That'll happen said no one ever. *sigh* I guess I'll hobble around the house and attempt to clean.

*Sigh* That moment when your asked why you can't attend an anime convention meet up because not only am I totally broke...But also the staff is so damn stupid that when I tried to attend this con in the past they just gave me lip for wanting an answer.

I bought some things off ebay and when they came they were missing pieces. I've been waiting over a week for the seller to send the replacement parts.

I'm working on editing some old photos and recording my LPs. What does my son do? As soon as he enters the room, he turns off the light. I suppose I'm supposed to work in the dark. That is my biggest pet peeve, working in the dark. He does the same thing when I'm reading or knitting/crocheting/sewing.
