Minor suck compared to the kind of things everyone has been going through, but depressing nonetheless... Today I knocked over a porcelain trinket box that I have had since I was a child and the lid broke into pieces too tiny to be glued black together.

Awwww, that sucks, Lamia! I broke a glass ornament I had since I was very young a few years ago and I was crushed for weeks...

Losing a treasured object is always sad.

Last night I fell down the stairs and sprained my ankle pretty badly. I know I'm really lucky nothing was broken (really something should have broken the way it happened) and that I only have to stay off it for like a week but I really really hate crutches.

I was only on crutches once - for a severe strain (from a simple turn of my ankle in heels no less...). The hospital had to find children's crutches because the adult size was too big. Unfortunately, the kid size was too small! I almost fell so many times that I refused to use them after the first day back at work and just hopped about for the next couple of days!

Minor suck - my glasses broke last night>.< If the place I got them from (a few years ago) no longer has the frames, I am going to be stuck with duck tape holding them together until I can get a new pair.

Waiting for grad schools to contact me today, Ryan's having a bit of a health scare that is leading me to think it's a B12 deficiency. I'm anemic and it looks to me.. really similar to what I go through.
We went to his mom's yesterday and she seems in good spirits aside from getting snippy when he or his brother brought up if she heard anything new about her breast cancer.
That's kinda where I am at. Freaking out a lot.

I met someone I really connect with, but he is a rather moody person... And he keeps getting irritated with me and I don't know why... Eeegads, why do I keep attracting odd people to me?! And he lives about an hour away from me, so most of the interacting we do is online or by text.... Why are guys crazy? *is getting a major headache*

He's not worth it if he keeps getting irritated with you for no reason. My mom married my dad who is like that...Thirty years later he's never changed.

The thing is, we aren't even dating... It's just a friends thing.... Which, if he wasn't such a moody ass, might have changed. Although since he is nuts I'm not sure if I want to even be friends with him... O.o >.<

Yeh, I dated a guy with emotional issues through part of high school and college. I can honestly say cutting him loose was the best thing for myself. It's better to be in healthy relationships with people on any capacity, friends or more. Friends, significant others... they should be there to build you up, not there for you to fix them. I wish I had known that seven years ago!
