Thanks for the info Meredith! I'll see if they have these kinds of cones over here too. I have seen cones but the thread on it was way thicker so not sewing thread. But maybe they have them in sewing thread too :)

That idea about elastic at the neck is super. I'll have to try that.

I cannot take the credit for the elastic- I saw the idea when I was looking for inspiration for crochet projects, so decided to try it for myself.

I'm usually not one for knitted or crocheted outfits for dolls, but those are positively adorable!
