Ahahahahaha some scumbag just tried to fraud me and a bunch of other people from my bank for $1,000+. The debit card guardians caught it, luckily, but this will be the second time I've had to replace this card due to fraud. :B
Tomorrow is gonna be interesting, since I still haven't had a chance to go grocery shopping and now I have no access to my money. Because of the whole being a thousand miles from home and everything.

Major suck here - I gave up my own job last summer in order to move here because the boyfriend didn't want to give up his (rather better-paying) job. Well, today - on his birthday too! - his employers told their employees they need to dismiss 20 of them within the next few months, and given a few factors (unmarried, no children - they do mind these things when deciding who to fire), he's almost certainly among those 20. So in a few months we'll both be unemployed and I needn't even look for a job here as we'll most likely have to move again anyway.
