I've managed to get into a debate about seam-lines. I think the 2 sides of the argument boil down to:

1) It's tradition, I'm suspicious of these new companies, Resin is MAGIC and discolours if you even look at it wrong
2) It's lazy not to remove them in the finishing process, which involves drilling, sprue removal, generic sanding/finishing anyway...

Guess which side of the debate I'm on... I suspect I'm not going to be popular over there...

*face palm* I rarely check out the discussion threads for that very reason. Don't worry about trying to be popular, it's just too big a forum. A lot of people use it mostly for information and the marketplace.

First rule of a tarot deck, buy one you like to look at. Second rule don't over pay because people will pull the "rare" and "collector" card on some. My sister paid 3 figures for one, I got one used for $5, the one I think is the prettiest was $20. Used is fine because you can cleanse just about anything. If you want to make your own several places sell blank cards.

The only deck to avoid all together is the Dollfie one that shows up every now and again. Aside from having pirated images that have nothing to do with the card meanings it's missing a couple of minors for what ever reason.

My favorite is my Alice in Wonderland deck. My favorite card is a handmade one a friend made of me as the Empress.

Yeah on DOA don't worry about being liked. I just talk to owners of dolls I like on there and get tips and things, mostly hang out in the themed threads like: "Supernatural doll stories."

But I do wonder do these people only see "AG doll clothes just as a temporary outfit." as "i'm gonna dress my doll in AG clothes forever."? Cause I got told five different times I'm gonna have to modify it....

Um hello..I even stated several different times: It's only temporary until I can make clothes that fit perfectly. I'm not gonna go broke buying clothes when I can make them. A couple pairs of shoes, some Ciel Phantomhive BJD eyes (two eyes so I'll have a matching set) and maybe a wig or two just to play around with looks. That's all I'm gonna want for my KDF when I'm saving up...I'm aiming for at least three hundred so I can afford those little bits.

Beautifully shot, really admiring the style. Intriguing plot. A few wince worthy scenes that made a few people think poorly of it. Not sure what to make of it in all!

I see a lot of DOA discussions involving ZOMG you're not going to be a $1000 doll elitist with a narrow view of what's right and wrong like us? How dare you! I didn't bond immediately I have to sell it! With the occasional useful or insightful one. I occasionally join if it's an interesting topic that has real discussion.

Hmm... Is it bad that I kinda want a Johnny Depp minimee - just to turn into Hunter S Thompson/Raoul Duke? He'd certainly terrify the other dolliehs - he could be in charge of all of the floating heads that are accumulating... and would probably happily eat/drink all sorts of chemicals that are bad for PU... I'd even get the "Red Shark" and a giant bottle of Ether...

Edit: Great the idea has stuck... I've now got images of him being the only member of the dollieh crew who is fully aware that I exist - so of course all of the others believe that I'm an LSD induced hallucination...
