Kitteh bellies! *snurfles*

And I am in the midst of my Epic Blu-ray Battle, and it is KICKING MY ASS. >__<

As posted on Facebook:

Epic Blu-Ray Battle: Round 3
Blu-ray Player: win #1,568,329
Me: AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
#needashotgun
#oraflamethrower

I already returned the first player in order to buy one with actual audio input, only to realize when I hooked it up that it's DIGITAL audio, not analog. SO. I had to order YET ANOTHER converter box and digital audio cable from Amazon - 'cause God FORBID I be able to find analog-to-digital cable - and hooked it up.... and I STILL am getting no sound.

On top of that, I was trying to access Netflix via the player and even though it would work the other day, it kept freezing the player this time. So I just stuck a DVD into the player and tried that, and no sound. I'm starting to get seriously annoyed at this point. >__< Why do these boneheads SELL this crap when it obviously doesn't work?!?!

Anyhoo, I am returning both cable and box, and tomorrow will be returning the player (AGAIN), and try one that has analog audio output instead of digital. My DVI-to-HDMI cord seems to be working for picture. It's the SOUND that's giving me all the grief!

On a happier note, managed to get a Littlefee body off the MP, and it should be here tomorrow. Yay! One of my floating faceplates will have a body! And my two Fairyland F60 bodies arrived the other day. I love them! Much smaller than the F65 bodies but just as poseable! Like bigger minifee bodies. I wish Fairyland will hurry up and release heeled feet for my girl, though. I'm actually wondering if the F65 heel feet will fit on her, or if they'll be too big. Hmmm...

Gosh darnit I need to stop going on BJD websites...Especially when I'm making a choice that 2013 is my year to stop letting my mom do her "I mean all this money for ONE doll?" Thing...

Why?

I found Noah...

http://www.eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=5747

Noah's a character from a story I've been trying to write for months and been looking at various sculpts that could fit him...And as soon as I took a look at the Yuz face up close...I think I gasped.

That's my little boy. Goddammit I'm gonna have to save up at the very least 300 bucks maybe more to pay for him and a few items...*facepalm* He'll be worth it...

I noticed that Shard doesn't seem to be quite as white as he used to be anymore.

It's not a huge difference, but he seems to have yellowed just the tiniest little bit.

:? That's normal for a doll who's over half a year old, even though he's been mostly kept out of the sun, right?

Yeah that's completely normal. Resin yellows over time even if they're kept in no sunlight. It's just how it is.

>_> I was not careful with Rosiel, who is a 1/6th Obitsu with the resin Apple head, and his head has turned a LOT yellow... he's been on a sunny window ledge with the other Obitsus

Xavier my well traveled angel will be 7 this year and has gone from creamy beauty white to having just a hint of green, then again is from their very first batch. No one in the outside world seems to notice. The twins have yellowed a bit despite living most of their lives in their box. The Orientdolls have held up quite well.

In general I keep my doll children out of the sun because it burns both of us. My eight year old, egads, Obitsus are doing quite well keeping in the shade. WS Kirnan is just a bit less pink and fresh than the many years younger WS girls.

I should take a pic of Evensong dressed all in white. She's six years old, a Luts beauty white. I can't dress her in white or put a white wig on her anymore because she's turned a lovely shade of "beauty green". lol Not so noticeable with dark colors, but yikes. XD

Snow! Kinda tempted to take Garan out in it for photos, he's even got his thick cloak on today

Aiko is too much of a house cat...
Drax and Elrana are just blatantly glaring at the very idea of it...
Elrana's still struggling with a tight dress/being too nekkid, so fair enough I suppose, Drax is just being Drax - he doesn't want his waistcoat stained or his hair mussed!
Crazy Mulitverse Crew: Drax, Jareth, Jerome, Elrana Milenkova, The Thin White Duke, Vasily Lupandin, Ramin Aiphos, Theta Sigma, Aiko Koyame, Lord Havelock Vetinari, Dr Nicholas Rush, Anon., Nyta Kinall, Otto Kreiner, That Demon, Sasu, Yaya, Ombre
...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson

Why the hell does NJ always take forever to ship things? The last thing I bought that shipped from there took 7 days - and it wasn't shipped media mail either ><

Did you know there's no tolls to get into Jersey, but you have to pay $1 to leave? Once you're in its hard to get out....

At least your zipcode isn't home to the lowest ranked(for efficiency) post office in the country. Three guesses where it is.
