Thanks, there's actually 3 colors, there's a lighter blue inbetween the two colors but it's tricky to catch.

Beautiful~! I actually like it better when her hair's all wild and free than the ponytail though. :P

Thanks, I did the ponytail to see what it would look like. The hair looks like it changes color with different styles.

Ohhhh boy! Spectra is my favorite MH doll and her lovely purple hair has a lot to do with that but...I LOVE this re-root! It looks great on her.
Anxiously awaiting Tryniti and Acorn!

I have been toying with the idea of re-rooting some of my monsters. and i already use dollyhair for mlp i re-root. was it really hard to get the hair out of her. i use surgical clamps for my ponies. what did you use to remove her hair?

I have long tweezers. First I cut the hair as short as possible, and save any usable trimmings for other dolls, then I go in and scrape along the inside of the head. You will be amazed how much cat blarf is in there. By feeling you can tell how thick the glue is, some heads don't have that much, some have a huge amount. Some times you have to warm the head a bit in your hands or under a light. At the most extreme I've microwaved a mug or small bowl of water for no more than 2 minutes then put the bak of the head in it.

For buying hair I use 6 as a factor for the 38" hanks, 1 cut in 6 pieces is shoulder length, 2 cut in 3 pieces each for butt length, Spectra has 3 hanks each cut in half.
