Is that allowed? Selling photos of the dolls, I mean. Since the sculpts are technically copyrighted, don't you need permission from the artists to use them to sell?

I'm a little hazy on the subject, but I liken it to fanart. Drawing pictures of copyrighted characters and posting them online is one thing, but once you start charging money for them, it starts crossing the legal boundaries unless you have written permission from the owners of the characters. Couldn't the same thing apply to copyrighted doll sculpts?

I'm just thinking, you could use that as an excuse to go back to taking pics as a hobby, and get the fun back.

I'm in the fan art boat, I've also asked doll makers if I could publish pictures of their dolls in my books. I've only been told to say if the doll was modified, like the Dead Collector I worked on, and not to show them doing drugs, hurting people, or anything illegal. Cirquemom has also published a few books.

I see it as a commercial for the dolls, pretty pictures make people want to buy them, ask my Orientdoll.

Thank you. I've just been there and got the t-shirt. Attention hogs thrive on attention and cutting them off either makes them look elsewhere or change. Some are so afraid of being abandoned and ignored their behavior drives people away, or they're given reality TV shows.

My coworker called my mom a dildo today.

I had a hard time keeping myself from cracking up when she said it.

Basically, I was 10 minutes late for work today because my mom forgot what time I was supposed to be there and WOULD NOT HURRY UP when I told her it was time to leave... I was explaining that to my coworker after I got there and she was like "It's OK, we all understand that your mom's a dildo."

I was not expecting her to say that, or at least I was not expecting that specific word after hearing the beginning of the sentence.

Yeesh. When people say bobobie face-ups are ridiculously hard to wipe, they aren't kidding.
I think wiping my weylin took about 30 minutes of scrubbing. Fingers = prunes.
But it'll be worth it to give him a fresh face-up after all these years! :3
