Which Tommy? The Who? I know I was royally p'oed when Iron Butterfly was digitally remastered. Whoever did that RUINED the original sound. As for the tinny sound of the music...I've no idea how to mimic it via a computer. I've been looking for programs but since I have the records, I'll just keep trying to convince my husband to get me a Victrola. lol!

Do we have a thread for just random finds? Just wondering, because sometimes I find little things that I think 'oh man, perfect for (insert size here)' but they're not right for my dolls. Others might like to know about them, though.

Tommy by The Who. Thanks to technology they turned the two track original, they were supporting a very high class homosexual after all, in to this http://www.amazon.com/Tommy/dp/B001DAJZ ... 865&sr=8-6

I could go in to a whole you need the original album, Live at Leeds 2 disc with the whole live version, movie sound track, 89 reunion 3 DVD to have Roger's Pinball Wizard on the bonus disc and the commentary on the show, and Roger's recent live tour with Simon to begin to understand what this is but I won't. I don't know if the single disc sounds the same but the linked version adds a depth that hasn't been there before and it just sounds f**king fantastic.

The microwave is beeping but no one is getting it! >_> I think I'm going to go open and close it so it shuts up. No idea what my roomies were heating up but it seems they forgot about it.

I am so uneducated! All I know about The Who is Pinball Wizard and Roger Daltry was in Highlander! >.<

I would love to hear what unenlightened ears think about Tommy. Don't look up anyone else's opinions or any other versions, just start with the original album and listen to it in order form start to finish. You can pause between Eyesight to the Blind and Christmas, Underture and Do You Think it's Alright, and Sensation and the Miracle Cure if you need to reflect (that's where the LP changed sides).

And there's the whole Roger in fringe era...

Yum, chocolates!
