Several of my dolls' characters are in a romantic relationship. Some were established before they were dollified (in the case of the Shadow King and Gabriella, the two main characters of my novel), and others find themselves a partner after they arrive. Or not at all. Lore and Evensong are my oldest established couple. Lore was my first doll, and Evensong was my second. They've been in a relationship from the very beginning. I've been considering getting them a young daughter. Journey's character, on the other hand, is a firm bachelor. He's a scholar and a teacher and thus far that seems to be his main passion in life. Well, when he's got his hands full with two adopted rambunctious 12-year-old elven mages-in-training, I guess that doesn't leave much room for actual romance.
And then there's Kestrel, who really wants a boyfriend but hasn't settled on one yet. Although she's been making eyes at Ryujinn since he arrived. Ryu's expressed interest, but he's a slovenly, lazy, self-absorbed dragon prince, so it isn't like he'd actually be GOOD for an 18-year-old half-elf.
They are fun to photograph together, though, since they both pose SO amazingly well.
