I am making a quilted sleeping bag for a 16cm doll for a swap. I have already crocheted a hat and am working on a matching scarf. The scarf is harder than the hat was.
I am also making a wig for my Christmas doll who arrived in the mail today- a DHS Fira.

They turned out a bit troll-like . Hey, it's my first modding project ever!!

The cats kept running off with my apoxie sculpt and milliput by the way. It must have smelled nice

Cats ... mine would probably try and eat it. -.-
I'd be too scared to try modding ears  I'm sure I'd mess up, I think ears are pretty tricky to mod. And somehow I thought Iler had pointy ears ^^° I figured that pretty wig she's got covered them.

An idea to make a strap for my crochet hook bag and keep track of the thread colors I have has got out of hand. Haven't decided if I'll 'frost' the legs.

Cherry's new "portable apartment" is almost ready to show off. I spent the weekend papering it and building the furniture. All I need to do is install her window and I should be ready to show it off. :D

What a clever idea! Personally I wouldn't "frost" the legs; I'd leave them plain for easier color-on-color comparisons. Good job!

I'm thinking a strait row of white that looks like they're standing on it to keep the legs strait. There isn't much to match as it's all that size 10 crochet thread that's everywhere. I just need to remember what colors I have when I go out so I don't double up when I don't need to, thus I have 2 sage green and 2 chocolate.

AHA! Speaking of finished product done and completed... Monday morning I shall undertake an undertaking of undertaken proportions!!! AHAAAA!!!!! I sort of feel like I'm creating a Frankenstein here. I should cackle madly and raise aloft my Franken-doll.

I'm going to FINALLY start that sanding project for attaching Soom hoof legs onto a Bobobie doll I bought. Yais! Finally she says. I'm going to dremel out the resin I don't want, make a new Apoxie lower thigh/knee joint, try not to accidentally sand my fingers off, and sculpt some new joints. Then when all that insanity is done I'll string them together and hope like MAD I've done it properly. I looked over Izabeth's tutorial on how she re-worked Rose's legs so I think I've got a decent idea on how to do it. Except I'm lazy and I'm going to use a dremel. I like my power tools.

WISH ME LUCK! woohoo!

I am working on making some shoes for a couple of my dolls. I found the most interesting metallic leather scraps at Micheal's today and thought "Hmmm, this would make some cool doll shoes!" when I saw it. There's a hologram silver, a regular silver, a sort of pearl pink and a champagne gold. Plus some black and tan pieces. I'm going to try making some polymer heels this week and work from there...

Good luck, Trethowan!
Champagne gold sounds like a beautiful choice for elegant doll shoes! Now my girl wishes I had anything of the sort ... ^^

The gingerbreads with their feet crocheted to frosting.

And the Schmendricks. The flesh tone one has several cracks so I'm seeing what I can do with the plaster and air dry twin.
