So heres the sweater with col and there will be some sort of what losely translates as "garden trowsers" in jeans fabric with I think a pink stitching to match the tiny embrodery kinda thing on the col of this sweater.
And then its on for some snug coats for both my girls as Audrey already has her set of winter clothes.

I love it but you already know that ^^, and by the way, a 'col' in English is a turtle neck ^^

The washing soda/soda ash paint stripping is working! Some spots in the latex paint were softened with acetone nail polish remover and I scraped at it to get it to lift off like a skin, there were just that may layers on it. The washing soda has worked best with the flat paint underneath, a good soak and it liquifies enough to wash off. I was able to soak the knobs and the latex lifted off with the softening of the layer underneath.

If I could have found Citristrip on my outing I would have gone with that because I have several pieces I'd like to get the paint off of but I won't have the elbow grease. The little dresser needed it. And I still have the front and two sides to go.

I am knitting my son a scarf. I wanted to crochet it-but I knit one for his father and he wants a knitted one, too. I reminded him that it took me 3 years to finish his father's scarf. He was whining Sunday because his girlfriend got a fleece scarf/shawl in her favorite color from me and he didn't have his scarf yet.

Soda ash paint stripping goes okay but I'm bumping up to lye because I'm running out of elbow grease. Soda ash works better on flat than layers and layers of latex, unless you can get it under the latex.

I'm sitting here trying to decide if the haircut I gave Bratzilla Meygan #3 is working or if I want to just cut it all off and wig her after all. #2 actually came out looking okay after much ado but I'm not liking #3 I don't think and I'm very close to wigging her with a Liv wig maybe. #1 is already wigged and her lips and eyes have been redone. I'm thinking I'll just change the eye color and lips on #3 and rewig her too maybe. But yeah, this Bratzilla doll has the worst doll hair ever. 3 dolls and not one of them had decent enough hair for it to be long? Pretty bad considering she's a $20 doll!!!

Currently working on:
- Removing the lower torso/legs from my Dancing Liv doll body, attaching a snaketail to her. (literally working on this at the time I'm posting this)

-putting 27cm Obitsu female lower legs on the 25cm Obitsu girl. (might require some sawing...)

-clearing out some space in my room for all the dolls

On the back burner:
- faceups for Crow and Cassiel (I got a new head for Cassiel, because her old one is stained from the horrible faceup with inferior materials... I keep putting off Crow's faceup)

-restructuring some of my MH CAM girls

-finishing all the character-outfits of character dolls
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

What I need to work on now:

-Travel Blankets for the dolls.

-Clothes for my SD girl, she is just hard to work with.

-Matching dresses for all my green hair dolls, at this rate I will have 4 green haired dolls by the time the year is over.

-Obi and Cloak for my Yo size doll.

Things I need to do but will probably end up paying someone to do for me:

-Faces

I have a DOT Tender Zen attached to some Soom faun legs waiting completion. Normally this wouldn't be a problem except for 2 things. First, the body is the old style with THREAD connecting the hand to the arm and we have to come up with a better solution and second, the S-hooks on the bottom of his faun feet stick out so he can't stand! I'm not willing to buy a dremmel for one project .... So we have to figure out something that will work for his feet too!

I am trying to custom PIP in Delilah and failing miserably, lol. 3 attempts at repainting her face and I gave up for the night. I've repainted a few 16" dolls before and managed it okay but Delilah is a lot tougher. My usual method of using watercolor pencils and then sealer is not working well at all. Tried acrylics, not much better, it's like nothing wants to stick to this girl's face! I finally took everything off and washed her face with water, dried her. For now she's a mannequin, poor thing. I'm going to have to try the chalk pastel and spray sealer method with her I think but I will need to hit Micheal's later this week for that. I don't have any chalk pastels at the moment and the only sealer I have is the brush on type which isn't going to work here. I'll probably sit down tomorrow and lightly attempt to sketch in her face with a pencil. That's not my usual way of doing it but I think it might be best for working with her. I thought being vinyl she'd be easier to do than most BJD's, but apparently not. I'm determined to do it though. I really want her to look like a proper BJD. 10 o'clock too. D&D probably I won't mess with her face up. I rather like her as she is.
