As I've been in need of a watch my hate taking the two busses to get there and back trips turned up a watch face in the bead section of the craft store. Now I just need to add beads and trinkets and what not, and I can change the band/chain with my whims.

Blarney's eyes and nose came in but she needs stuffing, not my job so don't expect it to ever get done :/. I have book binding to do. Orange Skittles Frankie is almost done but I need bags in all the different colors to make something for them.

Been working on my knitting skills and finally figured out why my ribbing always turned out so loose and uneven. It's a revelation!

I have an idea I'll say I don't want to personally see through because...

Wizard of Oz Hujoos now that there's a cat. Thought of it because of the Aluminum one I painted but haven't done much with. I'd even trade her to someone for another Hujoo if they wanted to go Wiz.

I have tons of projects for my doll I want to start on but until she arrives I can't.
When she arrives I will name her, finish her room box and start on her Halloween costume.
The room box has already taken weeks, and it's not even assembled at the moment. Basically it was a $15 reject shop book case I moved the shelves around so there's a room box kinda layout on the bottom as a room for my dollieh and the top has a shelf I can put things on.

Do you annotate on the pattern itself, a copy that hasn't been cut out or in a separate notebook? I am always curious what other artists do. I still haven't found a good system for annotating patterns for dolls under 6 inches tall.

6" !!
I'm staying away from dolls that small!
I keep a copy of all my patterns in an un-cut-out form in a notebook. I start with a second copy and cut, fold, trim, and scribble on that. If it becomes impossible to decipher my notes, I trace the pattern piece over and begin again.

Some of the facings, like for the neck, are very small even in 1/3 scale so some of the notes end up on the back of the pattern pieces.
I also write on the pattern which version it is (mark 1, mark 2) and who it is for.

I also make a list of the pattern pieces so I can easily see how many I should have.

If I draft the same pattern for two different dolls (or people) I color code the pieces with a slash of highlighter. Pieces that both drafts can share (like pockets) I mark with both colors.

I stick a scrap of whatever fabric I used in with the pattern pieces.

For tiny dolls, I'd probably photocopy the pattern pieces and then write my notes in the spaces between the pieces.

The notebook is an awesome plan! Thanks for responding-I lost track of this thread for a while. I am crazy about tinies-I am currently working on bloomers in 1:24 scale.

I've got in to the habit of just making slopers and working off of them with tracing paper. I label which doll it goes, like 11cm, to and things like F, B, and how many times to cut. Some things, like the 6th Doctor's coat, are drafted in an exploding view. I've ended up using file folders and/or envelopes to keep the drafts I scan for my books. Those have now ended up in a storage tub.

I'm starting on another Blonds related project. I'm totally stealing some time for doing dollie stuff tonight. I haven't had much time or felt up to much for the last couple of weeks, been sick, but I want to try something. I told you guys about getting a couple of the Madame Alexander Disney Princesses on sale? Well, looking at the costumes I thought it very unlikely that I'd find a buyer for the Belle one even though the gown is just beautifully made. I've always had a bit of an aversion for the color yellow, and I still don't like some shades, but this dress I just like for some reason, at least the base of it. I cut off all the sheer overlay. I took it off the top and what I ended up with was a very basic sunny yellow heavy satin evening gown. I'm taking the top and I'm going Blonds using some sequins and the Swarovsky crystals in the dark rainbow color which is mainly a mix of teal, green and gold. Maybe doing something here and there to match on the bottom. Not sure as yet. This one will take me a week or so....
