Knitting a life sized baby Blarney with brown camouflage yarn because it has all her colors. Had to get eyes and a nose on line. The dog will be finished probably before they arrive.

Thought about doing the rest of the puppies but I'd need more yarn for the other 4, only Blarney and Dublin match this yarn.

Thanks Eve :D It's a pretty easy dress to make. You should give it a try!

That sounds cute DollyKim, and it's a sweet memorial.

Looks excellent Kiki! I'm loving the proportions.
There aren't that many female dolls on the market right now that have nice femanine bodies with good proportions. Most that actually are good sculpts tend to be too long between the bellybutton and top of the thighs for some reason, but yours there looks pretty perfect!

How tall is she going to be?

O.O So cool Kiki! >_> I'm going to be wanting all the dolls. xD Have to agree with the others, she has much more realistic proportions than most girl dolls you find.

For an early birthday present, she gave me a box full of wonderful crochet threads. While we were talking, I crocheted. It works up so much better than any thread i have used. Everyone may got new clothes when I finish crocheting a new wardrobe for Myri.

what kind of doll is she? shes so tiny!!!!!!

i'm also interested in knowing how you work so small lol

Thank you SetsunaKou!

Myri is a Dream High Studio Micro. http://www.dreamhighstudio.com/
The friend who gave me the box of thread is the same one who taught me to crochet years ago. She is a fiber artist and always challenges me to try new things. This year I started by crocheting more for myself and reading more patterns. Then I bought a lot of different size hooks-I caught a sale and bought everything from a Jumbo size S hook down to a steel size 10. So far I have used everything from the P down to the size 7. I just crochet a little every time I have to sit still. It took me about 4 months to work my way down from the 0 steel hook to the 7, but I have learned a lot and started creating my own patterns along the way. I love tiny crocheting because I can fit all of my tools into a zipper eyeglass case that fits easily in my purse. :D

SoapBubbles wrote:Wow, how long did it take you to make all of those richila?

About 6 hours of talking and crocheting without internet or tv distraction

based on 1948 pattern catalog illo

I made the version 2 top too snug (also in white like this version she's wearing) so I need add a placket to put the snaps on.
Both the top and shorts will have acid green shank buttons over the snaps.

I want to make a big hat or a scarf also.
The final touch would be white-framed sunglasses!
Oh. and a huge beach tote.

One Blarney, assembly required. I'm waiting for the eyes and nose to come in.

To really be Blarney there should be a spring in the tail. I was going to teach her to bang a drum with it because it wagged so much. I wouldn't let my puppies get docked.
