Resin is more sturdy than people seem to think. Accidents do happen, but it takes some serious abuse to break a doll's leg. Fingers and fantasy ears are more likely to be broken than limbs, and most companies will sell replacement hands.

Agreed. My scariest experience with one of my resin dolls was when Taavi fell of his shelf, about 8 feet, hitting the shelves below him on the way down. He had some scuffs to his body blushing and some marks from the shelves paint which came off very easily with a magic eraser but no breaks or permanent damage. And I believe there are some companies that are willing to work with you in case of breaks. I swear(although I can't find them now) that I've heard of at least one case where someone damaged I think an upper arm piece and BBB was willing to work with them to sell them a replacement. Also epoxy can replair a lot and then be painted/blushed to match the body.

My dolls have fallen down face first several times and nothing has happened. Well... I don't recommend sitting down on them though. I broke one of my dolls' foot when I did that :P

:( awwww why dont you go to a bank and open a dolly account? and just put something there every month, and when it gets big enough by one? I did, it works well since the interest always add that little i need to get her sooner!!!. It may take a while more but its n option :)

=D i talked my mom into letting me buy one with some of the money we got for the things i lost in a fire due to smoke damage. So i'm going to be ordering one very very soon =D i'm just waiting for pay pal to activate then i can get her <3

I buy stuff for them (wig, eyes, clothes, etc.) and look at a LOT of owners pictures. Mostly I sit and daydream about how perfect she is :)
First Resin BJD Birthdate: 8/06/12...She is now for sell. PM for Resinsoul Li (going cheap, negotiable) for sale! (Keep incase fall thru)
