I appreciate the links but we don't do Ebay anymore around here. Our credit union won't touch Pay Pal for some reason, and I don't feel like getting a 2nd bank account or credit card not from there just to make Ebay happy. I've been at the same CU for years. If they don't feel okay with Pay Pal I'm going to stay far away. There are a couple of doll stores that have them on sale but they're still going to end up $100 or more for that one with shipping and that's not something my Dad wants to do. I had her in the basket on Amazon for $79 shipped, darn them!!! :P I'd really like the PIP one or maybe the Do You Know Where set. But I'm going to have to wait until I can find one sub $75 on Amazon if I want my Dad to buy it. There is one more but he wants more with shipping and I've gotten a few hints not to deal with that vendor besides. The rest are all retail or at least $100. It's going to have to wait. I'm keeping an eye out though.

I was hoping The Doll Peddlar carried her, but it seems they only have the Once Bitten full set and she's $150. You could always contact the owner, though, and ask if she is expecting more. She's always been very nice in my experience. http://www.dollpeddlar.com/product_info.php?products_id=20317

With shipping they are both about $90.

You are NOT going to find another DN under $100 with shipping without a lot of luck except on ebay. Sorry, but that's how it goes. The Amazon clearouts you see once in a very long while are generally only ONE doll, and you have to have an enormous amount of luck to snag it. As you discovered for yourself, it's generally an Amazon affiliate, they sell the doll and forget to take it out of Amazon, and they can cancel your order with no penalties.

Everyone goes to ebay now for the secondary market with these things. MAYBE you MIGHT find one on Doll Divas used for $80 with shipping BUT anyone selling at Doll Divas is also going to demand PayPal. There is just too much fraud with money orders for anyone to risk it.

You also do not have to get a second account just to use paypal. You can get a prepaid VISA or MasterCard to open a paypal account. It means a few more things to do and a couple extra fees to get your doll, but if you want her for THAT price that is what you are going to have to do.

EDIT: I would bet a nickle that the problem your credit union has with PayPal is that either they don't want to set up for PayPal, they won't pay the PayPal fees to set up with PayPal, or they are not on a credit union network so PayPal doesn't recognize them. It had nothing to do with how "trustworthy" or not PayPal is.

I found you an option for a $70 BJD that doesn't require PayPal. It is NOT a Delilah Noir. It will NOT come with an outfit or wig.

Goodreau is closing out their Oz dolls; for $70 you can get one naked:

I think Kitty as the Cowardly Lion is the one that looks closest to Delilah Noir. People who have Goodreaus are very happy with the quality.

Thanks. Actually I may just order that Esmeralda doll. If I am going to only have one BJD that one is certainly rather unique. I have the Tonner Wicked Witch and she's been a lot of fun. They can keep each other company. :) But I'm going to have to call them direct to do it. Even if you don't use a Pay Pal acct it seems they use Pay Pal to process CC's and my CU just will not allow me to do that. My parents and my CC's comes directly from them and they'll just turn it down if I try even though we could put it on there just fine balance-wise. If I can call them direct I can order it maybe. But I can't use Pay Pal to process out. My CU just will not have anything to do with them. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if she's still available. If so I just might.

There's always the option of getting a prepaid MasterCard or Visa at Mart-of-Walls or Walgreen Drug Store.

Not a bad idea. I didn't think of that. Too late. My brain wasn't working. I'm guessing they'll take those, but unfortunately I'd better hold off for now. I may be looking at a vet bill or worse one from the animal crematory. My little girl cat swallowed something she shouldn't have yesterday, tiny bits of plastic wrap we think, and she's been vomiting blood and stuff a bit though she seems okay otherwise. The vet said to give her tons of malt stuff to try to ease the pass it out of her but we don't know how this is going to go. What she ate can't just be removed via surgery unfortunately. It will either pass through the next time she goes and does a #2 or it will kill her. I can't spend $100 on a BJD knowing that and I'm too freaked out right now to even think about dolls. I just want my baby to be okay. Every time she throws up blood I just die a little. I really do my level best to cat proof things around here and I can't believe she somehow got a hold of some plastic and actually ate it. We think it was a cd spindle wrapper she was chewing on. My roommate put it in the trash but she dumped the trash and got into it.
