Requiem (x-posted)

In the dimly lit halls, pale figure lay in a bed of white roses.

Though death had robbed him of his breath,

The mourners gazed upon him longingly,

Hoping that he had only been sleeping, and that his eyes would open again.

Notes: The idea came while I was listening to Kalafina's "Lacrimosa" so I grabbed Klar, his doll box, and a bunch of ribbon roses. Each of those little roses were trimmed of their wire and individually placed in the "coffin". The entire setup took over an hour to do, but I had a lot of fun.

Klar....is soooooo UNDEAD. If I remember correctly, he's not really a vampire. But he does portray one beautifully.

It's more exchanging vessels (same soul, different body, while retaining old memories/personalities/etc.) than a full out vampire or zombie.

He does portray the undead well. It might be because of how his character is so at peace with himself. Heck... I actually considered getting a Reminiscing Lydia head as a secondary head for Klar's resin form! Lack of dollieh funds is what's keeping me from going through with that so far. It's still a tempting idea.
