Hi! I always wanted to make a custom obitsu elf doll. But I dont know how to make the ears. :cry: Do you have any suggestions or tutorias?

I don't have a tutorial, but I molded mine out of Sculpey, baked it, then glued them over the obitsu's ears. I tried to make a tutorial, but none of the pictures came out >.<

I would totally suggest some air-drying clay. They tend to be a bit light in weight and you can cleanly smooth them on. You can also tint them prior to sculpting on to help match the head color.

Wonderful tutorial, Maywong!!! I noticed they suggested baking polymer clay.... as a side note, you can boil polymer clay to cure it rather than baking it... which should be safer with vinyl and other plastics. /o/

I have made elf ears using Apoxie Sculpt or Paper Clay. Both of theses are air dry. Paper clay while easy to work with can be fragile. While Apoxie S. you can drill, sand, paint etc,after it dries and you have 3 hrs. to play with it.
