Rhordae!

I botched the face-up in a few places so I'll probably re-do it later.

If the ankle-balls were a little rounder the feet would have a greater range of motion. Even so, he holds poses fairly well.

Preparing for flight!


The camera doesn't really pick it up as well but I blushed the whole body with a darker green. I think it looks fairly decent. I was afraid doing a traditional red-tone blushing would look odd so I shaded him with green.

I haven't finished him yet, still need to paint all his claws and tips and horns. The original version of Rhordae had copper tips. I love copper and green together. I'm going to buy some copper acryl gloss if I can find it.

Partially finished wing and the untouched one side by side. There's still a lot of work to do on them to get it just the way I want it. They're pretty tough. I've already dropped them several times. D'oh!

Inside. I was tempted to try a metallic paint on the visible scales but I'm not sure that would blend in well with the resin.
