Thread title is something of a misnomer because there isn't actually anything to move into the house yet. I don't actually have any furniture in his size.
The house! With Mustardseed up in the attic. And a special appearance by Squall Leonhart, guardian of the dresser, in the lower right hand corner. And me in my sweatshirt reflected in the mirror, trying to get a straight picture of the house but not able to actually be in front of the camera properly because of my sister's stuff. Contrary to appearances I do actually have a head. Please ignore the detritus in front of the house, I'm still reorganizing after making enough space on the dresser for the house.
The attic. It's the largest space and it might become the bedroom.
One of the inside rooms and a terrible yellow shift. There are no doors or anything because it's not really a dollhouse, it's some kind of display cabinet. The pie in the next room is actually a tiny berry tart from my AG Felicity doll. That room is probably going to be the kitchen, and the room Mustardseed is in will be the dining room. The rooms are a little snug but the furniture doesn't have to be very big either.
The porch with it's own railing. And a tiny pot of pansies that I put there just because.
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to furnish it with dollhouse furniture or Borrower style. At the moment I'm leaning toward Borrowers, but we'll see what happens. There might end up being a bit of both.
ETA: Swung by the toy store after work and picked up a Calico Critters Country Patio set.
That all was in the one set, the teacup and saucer are separate and the glass can be emptied, the drink inside is a separate piece. The desserts are attached to their plates though. The chairs are collapsible and there are two stools.
ETA: Didn't have time to see dollieh peoples on Tuesday so I treated myself to a kitchen for the dollhouse. And then promptly forgot that, while I had taken the pictures, I had not uploaded them to the internet. And then that I hadn't actually posted them.
It was all one set, but because the rooms are so tiny I'm using the kitchen table for the dining room.
Tiny tiny rooms, but he seems to like it. There are so many tiny bits and pieces in this set, it's amazing. The basket behind him has rolls in it that would fit in his hand. There are baskets in the bottom of the cupboard behind him that have tiny carrots and potatoes.
He doesn't seem to fit quite as well on these chairs as he did the patio set, but isn't that freaking adorable? I want to hack together some kind of hanging light fixture to put over the table, and some kind of pictures on the walls, a rug...
How the house looks now. I need to find out how small those under-counter type stick-on lights come. The rooms can be pretty dark in the back.
