Irrasshaimase yo! Welcome to the forum!!!! Can't wait to see your Kyle Reese! When I first saw him, I thought he was the most beautiful/handsome male doll EVER! (And I still think so!!) But he was soooo costly, I tried to get around getting him, but in the end, I had to give in and just go for it!!!! No other doll would ever be my 'vision!'

Anyway, he's my Gambit and here are some photos of him as Remy LeBeau:










What image/aura do you have in mind for your boy? Blonde? Brown? Black hair? Or fantasy colored hair? Yasashii, sawayaka, ore-sama, tsundere, or hanayaka?

Ah, I see you're in Chiba Unfortunately the blossoms have all fallen down here in Nagasaki, but I'd imagine in Chiba they're right in season now! I'm hoping by next year's cherry blossom season I'll be able to take my doll outside to do a photoshoot with those lovely blossoms =^-^=

Oh wow! He's gorgeous in that outfit! Did you make it yourself?? I haven't really set upon an image yet for my Kyle. Actually, along with the doll I ordered like, 4 wigs and 3 pairs of eyes because I couldn't decide on colour or style OTL And I also got a bunch of different kinds of outfits from Dollmore with him, from kimono to military, so he's really going to be all over the place, lol. Actually I already received all of his clothes, wigs, eyes, accessories, just waiting on the doll himself. Sometimes I catch myself staring at his clothes and imaging him in them, lol. Good thing I live by myself otherwise I think my parents would think I'm developing some illness.

But for his basic personality I'm leaning towards a well-groomed, elegant aristocrat of some sort? Definitely from a well-off family so he's eloquent and charming, but his eyes have that slight melancholic look, so I'm trying to work in some drama or tragedy into it somehow.

I'm trying to get his name and personality set at the same time since I want a name that reflects his personality

The one annoying things about Dollmore Models is their heads are sort of in-between wig sizes. Kyle's head seems to be straight size 8, so finding him wigs that fit properly is hard.

8/9 tends to be too big for him, but 7/8 is too small, unless the wigcap is REALLY stretchy. Ash's wig is a Monique Pretty Girl in size 7/8. It fits but I have to put a rubber band on his head to hold it on, or else it wants to fall off. But I tried on size 8/9 wigs and they tend to be really shaggy/loose. And of course, after years of wearing his 7/8 wig, it's all stretched out so it won't fit MSD properly anymore. lol

I FINALLY found him a second wig from Jpopdolls, called Neverland, which they sell as straight size 8 (dunno if they're sold out of that size yet or not). It fits him perfectly. Of course, he also has his default wig but I never liked it on him that much.

Good luck finding your boy's look when he arrives! Kyle is really versatile. He looks just as good dressed up in gothic or punk as he does regular street-wear or elegant formal-wear. <3

(He also rocks a dress pretty hard. Don't ask me how I know that *cough*).

Edit: And I must also say how much I love Gambit. Boy, that skin-tight suit doesn't leave much to the imagination, does it? I'm sure Gambit is quite proud to wear it though, huh?

Hmmm, what about buying a 8/9 wig and then sewing it a little to make it a tad smaller? Or sewing in a ring of fabric around the edge to make it half a size smaller? Would that work? I've never worked with wigs before so my knowledge of them is pretty limited ^^;;
