Toy Story 3. OMFG. I just came back from that...it was awesome. I cried like a baby for the last ten or fifteen minutes. It was so good. I really hope this is not actually the last Toy Story movie ever because that would make me very sad. I saw the first one when it was in theaters when I was younger, I'm a little bit attached.

I'm kind of tempted now to go to Target, and get those full size Buzz and Woody toys, just so I can hug them.

No, I never really did grow up, but I figure neither did most people here, that's why we love playing with dolls so much, right? XDD

And speaking of dolls, waiting for my ride after the movie I went to the Japanese gift store in the mall, picked up a Re-ment outfit, and somehow managed to get the yukata I'd been wanting! It's adorable on my Hujoo. ^_^ Need to figure out how to make her little geta now.

I unexpectedly sold my Mei doll today at the doll meet-up (I had really only brought her to get her strung back together) plus a few other items so I now have enough dollieh monies to buy pretty much which ever of the dolls I've been looking at.

My Dollzone Jing is home!!!!!!! We actually had lost power yesterday due to some storms so I never checked the tracking number, when I pm'd the person I bought him from she linked me the page where it said "Attempted to Deliver." I freaked out cause there was no notice. But after calling the post office and a few slow breaths they said he was there and I could pick him up today before they closed.... which was 10 min. Luckily I live 2 blocks away and I think I sprinted (or skipped) the entire way there and back. I did make it and will post the box opening shortly. EEeee!!! He's so adorable!! :D

Today I took my 1/3 DIM boy, Ryo, disassembled him (except for his arms from the upper torso, they're on their own elastic and I'm not sure I'd be able to get it tied back together properly again without help or calipers), scrubbed him down with a magic eraser, hot-glue sueded him everywhere restrung him without breaking him or myself, and his elastic is tighter than it was before. It's so nice. He can hold his arms out and up, though straight out to the sides is still impossible because of the shape of his shoulders. He's never been able to hold his arm up before. His left is a little more stable than his right, but I'm still really happy. And his elbows and knees hold poses better too. I sueded his neck too, and his head's moving a little better. I think I need some kind of washer in there though to raise the S-hook a bit, it's seated really deeply into his head.

Overall though, with just that, he's moving so much better. I wish I'd done this ages ago, though if I'd done it ages ago I'd probably have been too nervous too treat him as roughly as I ended up doing when trying to get his elastic back through. I'm really comfortable now with how strong and sturdy he is, when I first got him I was almost too nervous to pop his torso forward to make him sit. XD

I just bought a dollie today! Totally unexpected. Was browsing DOA's marketplace in search of 1/6 girl dolls like Souldoll Little or Mini Gem, and there was Souldoll Little Kimmy, one of the few male resin 1/6 scale in existence (and discontinued on Souldoll).

Snapped him up even though I probably shouldn't have (considering I've got a B&G on layaway). But I never expected to find a Kimmy on the marketplace, so I'd completely regret it if I let him get away (good thing, too, Arrowchild got more inqueries right after mine).

So thrilled now. She even let me commission a faceup for him, so he won't be nekkid when he comes home.

Congratulations on getting a Kimmy! What a great find!

Squee! I went to look at your boy and decided to check the Minis for an Orient Doll Tae-and I have him on layaway. I have wanted one since I first saw him. He is like a teeny tiny Hound. Squee!

My 'kids' just graduated today. I'm happy for them, and sad I won't see them at school every day. Even when they weren't in my classes, some of them would stop by to see me EVERY DAY!

Party time... one has a party today, another tomorrow. It's always slightly awkward to be a teacher at these parties... but I'm honored they like me enough to invite me. ^__^
