Xavier, although at the moment his whole family is in a basket... Everyone else is replaceable in one way or another. Maybe not the twins but in the instance of losing everything else I'd need my angel more than ever.

I need to stand in the corner with Catshem. I have a large basket under the doll table that all my dolls and my cat will fit in and it is on the way to the door to get out of the house. I have no really expensive or limited edition dolls-so the wouldn't be worth much on the open market.
If I was suddenly abducted by aliens-then Cordie would be the doll with me at the time. She is always either on my person-in a pocket, in my purse or within hands range-along with my handy camera. I may not have shoes on, but Cordie would be with me.

After actually reading about how one girl had to grab the girls and run because her house was actually on fire. I've began keeping all the girls in one bag near the door, so that in the event of an emergency I can grab them and my laptop and run. (Which now makes me really lame probably). I can't pick just one because I just don't have one. And each girl is equally important to me. So for the purpose of this exercise, I fail and get to join others in the corer. But on the other hand, I'm much more aware of fire prevention safety now!

Hmm, in case of a fire....I would tie Elodie to my cat, grab the cat, and RUN.

You know, my friends and I were discussing this question before... and I realized that while no, I don't have a favorite doll, there is only one in my collection that can't be replaced. When it comes down to brass tacks, I can replace Vorel, (RS Wu on Li body in white skin), Vespera (RS white Ai), Xiu (DZ yellow Annie), and even Shy (Angesldoll volks white Kloze) and Seona, (RS Jun on Wu body originally white, dyed blue) even though replacing Seona would be the hardest, because of all the work that went into him. But it could be done. None of my dolls are limited editions, or have had their face-ups done by someone who no longer does face-ups. The only one that I could never replace, even if I bought the parts, is Rune. He's not a limited edition either, he's a ResinSoul Jun head with some ear mods, on a DZ double jointed body. But even if I bought the pieces again, and redid his ear mods, he's the only one that could never be the same. There's just too much sentimentality attached to him.

I'll be with catshem-san, richila-san and Almy-san......My sister and I just have too many and I can't imagine not having enough time to grab at least a few of them with me. I know that absolutely defeats the purpose and point of this topic, but.....wow!! Way tooo harddddddddd!!!!!!

My sis and I have put so much work into each of our dolls since they're 'character dolls' (all of them) based on anime characters or seiyuu actors that it'd be REALLY REALLY....REALLY....hard to remake them all.....mainly because of their custom outfits.... :faints:

We have about 200x 1/6 custom made Volks & Obitsu charadolls, about 125x 1/6 official anime & Disney charadolls, about 60x 1/8 anime dolls, 8x 1/4 Tonner Customized Dolls; 31x 1/3 custom made Volks/Obitsu Dollfie Dream type anime dolls and now 18x customized portrait (seiyuu) 1/3 Resin BJDs.
That's not counting the couple hundred Barbies & Kens stashed away in my closet; about hundred anime chara (official and custom) plushies and dozens of Sailor Senshi resin models and figures all over our rooms as well....

:sighs: I just hope I'd be able to toss as many as I can grab, in a big carton/box and drive off with to safety. Especially the really difficult ones to make----ahhhhhhh, just imagine remaking Remy & Rogue's spacesuits!!! :faints again:
I guess most of the 1/6 dolls, even though they're in some of the most difficult outfits to make again due to size, would probably mostly not make it since they're all in curio cabinets and I doubt I could open them up systematically in an emergency. ^^;;

I guess it would be certainly my precious Kiyan BJD (65cm Dollzone Yuu, practically 100% modded) but honestly, I would definitely do all I could to save as many as possible because I LUV THEM ALL!

I don't even want to THINK about all the work it would take to remake all those outfits.......:cries:


Of course, it is completely possible to remake custom dolls, even if it takes a while, so maybe I should save the official anime dolls that are nearly impossible to find nowadays........Hmmmm.......

But I love the Volks/Obitsus versions better......


Well, it's all just material things anyhow, right? 'Things' can always be replaced, no matter the difficulty in doing so, so.......

Okay, I'll be good and follow the rules of this thread and.....I'll just say my Kiyan-sama portrait doll. ^^

Lol- SetsunaKuo! Your post made me giggle! You certainly put a ton of thought into that. I guess that's what happens when you have a billion dolls!

For myself, I readily admit that in a fire dolls won't be on my mind. But, for the essence of the question, I'm going to have to go with Annica.
In actuality I wasn't certain yesterday when I posted the question, and was thinking that it would be Asher. It came down to my first girl and my first dolly love. There would be no other dolls in my life had I not liked her, and she's still the one I like playing with the most.

Speaking strictly value-wise, it SHOULD probably be Soleil, my Soom Zinc centaur, since I doubt I'd ever be able to replace that guy.



But honestly, it'd probably more likely be Evensong, my Luts Delf Dark Elf Soo. She's my second doll, and is still one of my favorite sculpts. Okay, but I'll have to go stand in the corner with the others because there is no way I can grab her and NOT grab her mother, Ember, who is also a Dark Elf Soo in tanned skin. ^^;



And, yeah, Song's sister Kess would join them. She's an elf Lishe, who would also be very hard to replace (even BEFORE Luts stopped selling their Delfs). ^^;
