Doll themed Christmas lists

Postby quidam » Thu Dec 01, 2011 12:46 pm

Well, it's that time of year when random people ask the ever pressing question: "So, what do you want for Christmas?". In my family we always ask for lists from everyone. There's no guarantee on anything, but having some ideas is nice. (It's better than having to thank someone for the lovely light-up, singing, egg beater)

Being a doll forum, I'll assume that most of us have some sort of desire for something doll related under our tree.

So: What dolly things made your list this year? (Whether a physical list, or just one in your head) Are you getting anyone on your buying list anything doll related?

On my list this year: Hujoo Wings, Dal ( a cute one stuffed into a bear outfit), and a gift card for Denver Doll. I'm also hoping for random doll sized things.

On the buying list: I purchased a small bit of bakery rement for a friend who like 1/6 scale. (blind packaged, so we'll both be surprised when she opens it!)

I asked my family for a digital camera (to take better pics of my dolliehs!) and a hot glue gun (for dollieh-related crafts!)

>_> as a Christmas present to myself, I'm thinking of getting a Little Pullip.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

I'm thinking I may get some fabrics so I can make doll clothes. I may also be getting a 27cm male obitsu.

My Christmas doll is a DHS Micro. I am also getting a book on Flower Fairies for doll outfit ideas. My husband and son wanted Bitty Bitsus of their cats, Rusty and Julius, because I have so much fun photographing Cordie. So, I am in the process of making their dolls. The family is getting a toy train for Christmas-Bitty Bitsu rides!

I asked my parents for my dark grey Resinsoul Rong. (is it still count if they already told me they were getting it for me?) My boyfriends parents have been dropping hints about a sewing machine so I can start actually making clothing for my girls. And I told my sister and brother to only buy me gift certificates to Mint on Card so I could buy the girls new outfits. (I'm not dollieh spoiled at all..)

I had a long list planned out for like, two dolls, and then my in-laws decided not to do Christmas this year. So... that botched. But, I got Hujoo Dana as my "Christmas Present" from my husband so... uh.... that counts right? >_<

I thought that MoC didn't have gift certificates? That's actually why I asked for Denver Doll, as I didn't believe MoC or JS had them.

I got my BFF DOTD Clawdeen and when she asked me what I wanted I told her flat out: "Liv Making Waves Sophie she's on sale everywhere for nine bucks." BFF then suddenly wants to spend all of her money on herself...Mom gave her glare and apparently all she needs is a ride to the store...Holiday hecticness.

I do have a Hatsune Miku Nendoroid on my list.
