Go figure as soon as I give up and finally buy her online, I find one in the store. Well I'll either custom one of them or just sell one.

Just made this custom doll, Diana Huntress. Unfortunetly I tried to scrape the old paint off because a speck got in her left eye when I was painting and I messed her original makeup baddly. I'm going to have to start over with a new Dead Tired Ghoulia head.

Scrape the other eye or touch both up with a bit of repainting, that is a lovely Ghoulia.

As for spare Spectra I had the same thing happen. There are people here still looking for one if you want to part with her for a reasonable price. I ended up rerooting mine with hair taken from a glow in the dark wig, told myself I would if I got a spare. I wiped her face to change her color scheme too. Th hair glows slightly green.

It just hit me that with my Spectra in white and Jackson half black and half white I ought to do someone all black like swans. Hmm, who should it be?

I found Gloom Beach Draculaura on sale for $7.49, so I ended up buying her.

First thing I did (after wrestling her out of the package) was get rid of the God-awful yellow polkadot coverup thingy and put a skirt over the bottom of her bathing suit. (The top part of the bathing suit is actually pretty cute... but the neon yellow part makes me want to clean out my brain with fire.) And get rid of the bow earrings. And rename her.

Meet Lilith:

... also that heart on her cheek has to go. Otherwise I'm going to leave her face and hair how they are.
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Fund a Gil http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... -here.html And I passed up on replacement Toraleis, I decided I'm going to love my slightly borked girl who can never wear shoes. (Mattel did offer to replace/give me a voucher because they were out of her because it's a factory problem) It's a conscious decision to cut down on the clutter and love my doll children flawed or not.

Gil be handsome and earless and a wee bit Avatar looking.

... I always feel awkward butting in on very long threads, especially when I haven't read every page...
Hi, I'm new here. And an MH fan. :3
I've lost count of how many I have. ;---;
(But losing count kinda happens when you start buying so many to mod...)

How are ya'll?

And on the subject of hands.... I doubt they'll re-release the existing boys with these wrists, unless they're releasing them in a pack. (Like how they gave DotD Clawdeen the clawed hands in the new three pack... Or have they started making her with clawed hands, hmm....)

But I can't wait to see new versions of all the guys, with wrists like that.
It might persuade me to actually get a boy doll at some point. :3

But if it wasn't for boy dolls where would baby dolls come from?

In the grand scheme of things I think the boys are fine as they are, and with all the boys still on the shelves there's not a big incentive to re-release them. Gil got wrists because of the webbing in his hands, they're like Lagoona's cast clear then partially painted. Could be cheaper than doing the whole lower arm clear or it's because the clear plastic wouldn't stand up to the popping the lower arm in and out like they suggest for dressing.

That's the way it is for most male playline dolls... They keep the shelves warm.
Like Holt. He's keeping the shelves far too warm and toasty, and that's not even in a punny sense.
I'm just hoping they'll come out with a male character I actually like... My girls need some boyfriends.
But thus far, while the bodies keep getting better, I just don't like the heads on any of the boys.

I have to say I have hope again that they might release the other guys besides Gil and Clawd with new wrists. Someone posted the codes for the extra content for the Sweet 1600 dolls and the unlockables hinted at lots of other things on the way. Lagoona, Ghoulia, Cleo, Deuce, Abbey, Spectra, Holt, and even Howleen were in attendance so there is a good chance they will end up making dolls of them. None of the previous sets was as big as this one seems like it will be. The largest set, DotD, had only 5 girls not counting any exclusives, while the Sweet 1600 storyline hints to a whopping 9 girls being there. If they all get made as dolls I would at least expect to see one of the other guys released in a later wave. Perhaps Holt since he has not had a formal outfit yet. Mattel recently made 2 guys to go with the 6 girls in their latest Fashionistas line, so they are not above including multiple guys if the line islarge enough. Anyways it would give them an excuse to rerelease the guys with the new wrists.

Also there was also a side storyline about Deuce planning on making an ice rink in his yard for Cleo and inviting the others to come try it which I think that hints to a winterwear line. If Deuce doesn't get a Sweet 1600 release, I think we would see a new version of him in this set if they make it since he is an important part of the storyline.

Then there is still that basic Jackson we are still waiting on.
