I decided to give it a go and I just got back from my Walmart. I managed to grab a wave 1 Draculaura and Ghoulia. Then I went to the regular section since I had read someone managed to get a Torelai at the sale price and all they had was a wave 2 Frankie. I took her to one of the price checker things and she did scan for the sale price so I got her too. I only have plans to keep Frankie so now my Jackson won't be lonely anymore since the only other monster I had was Lagoona and she just isn't his girl. I plan on eventually exchanging the wave 1 dolls for Spectra and Torelai.

I think the only ones for sale were the Basic Girls from 2010 (Frankie, Clawdeen, Draculara, Lagoona, and Ghoulia) It's great you managed to score the other dolls at the sale price too. XD The Walmarts here were sneakier ._.

Now, the one I went to had Monster High in the middle of Barbie and Brats, the other one had more and on the end but anyway. I waited in line and briefly heard the guys in front of me taking that there was no limit on the dolls. When the time came to take the wrapping off the first guy in line grabbed and entire tray of dolls (at least 20) and put it in his cart. The guy after him did the same thing. So, I slide underneath everyone (I'm short) and grabbed a handful. People tried grabbing what I dropped and grabbing out of my arms! x.x Victorious I looked at my bounty, 2 Draculara's, 1 Clawdeen, and 2 Ghoulias. I traded with one women for a Lagoona. And then gave away the Dracularas and Ghoulia to moms who were on the other side of the store and desperate. x.x The way I look at it I just helped 3 girls get what they wanted for Xmas <3 And I was still Champion because at one point I had like 5 dolls w00t! I only took home with me Lagoona (Who I didn't have in any form) and Clawdeen (Who was too gorgeous to resist) Anyway Justice had just as good sales and they had Spectra with no pushing. And Toyrus had the bed deal off all with 8 dollars per Dawn of the Dance doll for like 3 days.

Sidenote: I really don't know what those guys are going to do with those 20 dolls the each snagged I looked and they didn't go back and put the ones they didn't want back. My guess is probably scalpers since they were going on about Walmart having no limits on the dolls. My thing is that a) It's the 2010 version which a smart shopper can find for 15, b) Walmart should have limited it to like 6 or something to prevent that @.@

>.> All in all between Justice/Toysrus/Black Friday my collection expanded @.@ Its way out of hand now no more for me for a while!~

She has a hair brush and tons of gel, da fook? So I might wash her hair. As I said I think the tail is supposed to come out. Haven't seen most of the toons, I have the DVD that came with the dance dolls, so I ton't know what's going on with her. Gonna be hard not to call her Tortalini.

You know I've been looking at all the different MH dolls... and I'm wondering... are the heads in fact different sculpts or is it the paint that makes them look so? I look at the default paint jobs, and think "yes, they are different sculpts" but then I see customs and go "waitwhut? the heads look the same now" Except for Spectre and Abby, they all looked the same to me.

Also, does anyone know if there's another doll skintone that matche either Jackson Jekyll (obitsu white?) or Deuce Gorgon? I really like the MH boy bodies but I can't sell myself on their heads. It's too hard to find a Clawd Wolf for anything less than $30, and I'm not willing to pay that much for him, and I don't want Draculaura.... >_>

There are slightly different hands, different finger positions, and some girls have gloves or more pronounced claws.

Jackson is close to Obitsu white like very pale Barbie, Duece close to Obitsu normal like Disney Princess but it's not exact. Hang tight, there's a solo Clawd with a dress present for Draculara's birthday in the pipes.

Ooo that could be perfect.... is there an ETA out? How drastic is the difference between the obitsu skintones and the Deuce and Jackson skins? Is it negligible enough to fix with blushing?

Teehee I'd love to swap a Clawdeen head onto Clawd's body...

Yeah for cat girl XD She's so cute!!!

The full Sweet 1600 (solo Clawd) is on pre-order so it's due next month ish *but* with the Christmas rush the price is probably going to be icky. I'd wait till Jan to look for him.

I don't think you can swap a Clawdeen head on a Clawd ._. the necks are insanely different size. I guess you could try it's squishy vinyl.

Um heads are different the best example is Lagoona. Her nose is barely raised and her face is super round. She also has different ears. Which neither Clawd nor Clawdeen have human ears >.> I think it's just the faces are very simmilar *but* when you look at Lagoona's Head vs. Ghoulia's there's a difference x.x

Well some of them definitely have different sculpts since the ears are way different like Draculaura has pointy ears, Lagoona has finned ears, Clawdeen has wolf ears. I do think they have a similar aesthetic, which is expected since they need to mesh together. If paint jobs can make 2 of the same sculpt look different then couldn't it work the other way and make 2 similar but different sculpts look the same?
