Hattie comes home!

Postby kaybee27 » Sun Oct 30, 2011 6:46 am

I finally paid off my layaway for my Harin! I got her second-hand off the DOA MP. She came with a slightly damaged company faceup, which I wiped (I am sure most people think I am nuts, but I love doing faceups myself even if I am terrible at them). I might redo it this weekend or next; I'm not sure I want her to be a redhead. I got this gorgeous red wig from IH which I love but I envision her with a soft chocolate brown mohair/tibetan wool wig (which I cannot find for the life of me me). So we'll see!

She is gorgeous but I am a little surprised with her posing/standing abilities. My AOD Vero stands and holds poses way better. The YID body isn't very well engineered unfortunately. But she sure is pretty!

They look so cute together, grats on your new girl! :D
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
