Oddly enough, while most boxed "hobby market" 1/6 scale figures have long since passed the $100 US mark and are now heading into the $120- $150 territory (with Hot Toys even higher), I've managed to keep my individual purchases under $100. I have a few dolls, all media property characters that have gotten to but not surpassed that mark. The Takara "In CG" (Cool Girl) version of Motoko Kusanagi and an obscure, Obitsu-bodied version of Leona from Dominion: Tank Police would be the two most expensive (although Leona was on sale). Just down a notch was a Toys R Us exclusive repro of the GI Joe Mercury space capsule and astronaut (actually, very impressive for the ~ $80-ish it retailed for at the time). Back to "just" boxed figures, there's the Armoury figure of Koshka Rudinova from Paolo Parente's Dust and the SWAT version of Ryotsu Kankichi that Bandai did back in the late '90s. Neither of those hit the $100 mark but Koshka was in the then-princely price range of around $65-$70 in 2003, while I got a pretty good deal on Ryotsu (maybe $60-ish) because he'd been displayed and needed some cleaning.
I would LOVED to have bought the various robots and "de Plume" troopers from Ashley Wood's World War Robot line but they are just out of my price range.
EDIT- Oooops! I almost forgot the haul I got with my Christmas money last year. I picked several BBI boxed figures that normally go for top dollar on the secondary market for way less than their usual asking price. I think the 2 figure Green Beret 50th Anniversary set was the major score, although still a little pricey. The big selling point for me was the figure of Col. Aaron Bank, a man I've always admired but who has slipped below the radar of American history.

I've got three I'm trying to get rid of,but I'm really wanting to get Oshi, the Majour, the doctor from Eva,Katsuragi from Eva,and Asuka from Eva. I had a Cute Honey and Bloody Rose, but my little sister destroyed them so I'm going to put them up for sale sooner or later. You're like the only one I know that's even heard of the Takara CG's though.

Loved the CGs and was really disappointed when Takara priced them through the roof. As I type this, eleven CYs and CY hybrids look down from the top shelf of my desk- they didn't want to stay in the toy room with their sisters, and migrated out here where they can hang out with me. Revenger's probably in my top 10 if not top 5 most expensive dollies.

By the time Motoko came out, I was really becoming disenchanted with the Cy Girls/Cool Girls line. The prices had gone through the roof and the whole "scene" had gotten a bit testy and "fan-boyish" for me.
I still wouldn't mind having that Deunan figure one of these days.
