Oh crap really? With all this there's no way we can risk a baby. I had no idea about this. Is it limited too certain kinds of BC? Please tell me more!

PM'd you with more info.

I'm really sorry for you. Last January I was told my teaching position was being cut in half. Then in March I was told I was being laid off entirely... NYS education budgets were so messed that nearly every district was laying off art teachers or not filling retirements. I got REALLY lucky to find a job at a private catholic school. The pay sucks compared to what I had before, but at least I have a job and benefits.

As for the Tarot... I pull a three card reading nearly everyday. It SUCKS when they are right and it's bad news. At least my cards are pretty (Dragon Tarot).

Good luck!

If you have epilepsy I am pretty sure you are considered as having a disability. Why don't you see what kind of help you qualify for.

So, I thought I'd update our status right now. He still has a job, for now. He might be able to keep it till the end of the year and then after that who knows. His employers are actively trying to keep from laying people off, but there's only so good they can do when the work they were expecting from about three different places (it's a contracted company that develops software for hospitals, military, emergency response.. etc) failed to come through.

My husband puts a lot of effort into this company and he's really good at his job (I'm not exaggerating it) so I hope they keep him. His own supervisor said that if that let my husband go, he's going to go too because he can't do the work himself.

We are still doing our darndest to cut our spending though. Somehow our food bills are always $100+ no matter what we change lol

Good news on the home front: My Nana is coming back home. She's doing better than I was expecting. She's still weaker than she was but hey, she's not dying!

Also, turns out my husband's ex-boss who left the company was lying to him about the job contracts not coming in for next year. He's working remotely now for another office in TN, but the office here has the potential to get a lot of work coming in next year. So! It's sounds like we're safe right now. My husband's pretty valuable to this company, so we know they don't want to lose him if they can help it.

Ex-boss was trying to stick it to the company by leading my husband to believe he was on the chopping list. Oy...

Catshem, y'all should notify his company officially...they might sue the man for something like Industrial sabotage...is the ex-boss working for your hubby's company at a remote office, or for a totally different company?

Not that I know of. Apparently he was really disgruntled with how the company was being run, so that's why he quit.... and he I guess was thinking "Take the best employee with me." I don't know, interesting though that the company could sue him for that. Huh.
