I find myself recently feeling this same way... I have been collecting so much stuff lately that i am feeling my BJDs aren't getting the attention that they deserve and maybe feel like i should sell them to someone who would pay attention to them...
I think that "too much" is a term given when you personally think that you don't have enough time to pay attention to them all...

I think that mentalshoc has a point... What dolls do you see yourself playing with 3 years from now...
I know i am going to need to seriously ponder this myself...

Maybe you should do the same... <3

I'm opposite. I don't give a darn about 3 years from now. Why should I? It's three years into an unforseeable future. I care about now. What am I into now? I can't guess what I'll be doing three years from now, how could I guess what dolls I could see myself with then? Three years AGO I didn't have any dolls. Who knows what I'll be doing in 2014. I might have a kid. I might not. I might have moved across the country. I might still be here. I might not even be alive.

I might try to see myself with certain dolls in three years, but nobody knows what the future holds. To me, that's adding a new level of worry to the issue. Energy for the day is best used for problems of today. Let tomorrow worry about itself. (That doesn't negate planning for the future, but it negates worrying about it.) Today I love my dolls. Today they make me happy. <3

I don't try to think about what future interests will be either. Back in 2008 it was Rian and Muppets, starting my website, making the heads for the Beatles and Bee Gees, and trying to pull together something for Doll House photo stories. Could I have seen Monster High coming up? Would I know that I was going to try and engineer Roger? Just recently I've put more energy in to doll knitting.

Had I adapted the get rid of everything I get and ignore for a spell I wouldn't have my Star Trek action figures, my jewelry making supplies, a bobbin lace kit I finally figured out how to use, oil paints, the better part of my fabric stash, or most of my dolls.

If you really feel like you're done with something be done with it, I did with several things and focused that on what developed in to true interests.

At my school library, I was able to find William's Doll. It was an interesting book. I have used the term "too much" because I have too many dolls and most are just collecting dust on my shelf. Only a few dollies in the front get the attention. I am going to have to sell some of my dolls for either new dolls or room. I am going to wait until I get the required amount and sell them on here. I would rather sell them here than on Evil-bay.

Hello.
I have interest to this topic because I feel losing an energy of doll hobby.

I think this is natural, and I have same feeling.
