Okay, I grudgingly admit that she's pretty.

I stand by my facebook comments, however. And I don't see those "look at my new doll" pix here that you sent me via PM....

So...now that you've sold your car how are you getting around?

But seriously- she is really pretty. How does she pose? One of the people at the JPop Festival on Saturday had a Liselotte (sp???) and she was really pretty too.

Thanks everyone! I never thought I'd be *this* excited over a doll again, but I guess we don't call them Holy Grails for nothing. xD

Misty, yep, she's an SD16. I think so far, only SD17 boys have been released. And double yep on the instruction manual. It's mainly about the disassembly, care and maintenance (and if you're in Japan, you can actually contact Volks and they will have a naming ceremony for your doll..lolwut) it's a bit of an overkill since most doll owners already know how to do all these things, but it's still pretty to look at. :D

And mommieh...that "doll" I showed you on facebook was a very...special doll. That's why it's wearing a princess outfit! >.>;; Kira poses quite well actually. She can stand on carpet wearing her high heels, and I could pose her hand and arms with no problem. Her stringing (and kips!) is perfect. Although she'd probably end up being as floppy as any other doll soon enough.
