Artist Trading Card, the same as baseball and other trading cards. 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Art and craft stores even offer pre cut art paper and canvas that size. Avery papers and PlainCards.com offer printable card sheets as well. You can easily cut paper down to that size but un essence you can use any medium as long as it's the ATC size.

My thoughts go there because there because there are occasional diptych and triptych cards that size so a magazine/book that size wouldn't be that much beyond. For smaller dolls it's an oversized magazine, for larger dolls it's like a Manga size mook.

Well, sure. I guess I could write some articles. Can't take any photos (no camera, no talent) but I do wicked CGI. Maybe that could work for something, too...

I'm sure it could! Sounds awesome! :D

Dollykim, I'm sure that's an American thing (the Dutch trading card standard is smaller), but fortunately I do have measuring tape with inches on the back, and it turns out the DOLLE Magazine I made is 2 1/2 by 3 1/4 inches... pretty close :)

Hm, trading card size! I like that idea. So if anyone asks us why we're making tiny books with dolls on them, we can say that they're trading cards.
The ever growing wishlist: Hujoo Dana, Obitsu 40, and an army of other Obitsus with anime style heads.
The more expensive end of my wishtlist: Limhwa Half Elf and Elfdoll Soah, my dream dolls.

I have some packed up somewhere, did some doodle ones but haven't been able to go more artistic yet. I can't mail anything right now because we might get to move tomorrow or in two months. Yay fun. I'll think about it when I get settled again.

I've been thinking about making trading cards of my dolls too. The only bummer with the Plain Cards program is it's Windows only but I do have a pack of blank Tarot cards and a can of protective spray from them. An old photo program I had years ago did trading card size.

Maybe our magazine could feature a few dollieh trading cards with each issue...?
