You DEFINITELY have to read all of the pattern before beginning, and sometimes a good bit of her others as well. I've made the 1/2 scale girl pattern she has up on the site, think its the Big Doll or something similar. Had to read several of her other patterns to fully understand how to put it together, though the result looks wonderful. Most of her dolls are made with a firmly stuffed base of light colored cotton, then covered with sports-knit or tshirt fabric in flesh colors. It seems a weird way to do it, but you end up with a fairly poseable doll without obvious joints or too many seams.
