I bought myself a new self propelled lawnmower. The old one was a always needing something fix push mower. I'm far to excited about it. The first thought that crossed my mind when I looked at the price was, "about the price of a doll, I can manage that." Is it bad to think that way?

I think I finally figured out a decent way to make the soles for a pair of doll shoes I've been wanting to make! Yay solutions!

There's another Sly Cooper game coming out next year!!! Yet another game to add to my "Games I really want to buy a PS3 for" :D

I missed E3 this year on TV, and I'm still catching up to a whole bunch of new awesome games.

I'm employed!!!

I had an interview yesterday and this morning the principal called to offer me the job!! ^___^ I go in tomorrow morning to sign the contract and all the paperwork. Took a bit of a pay cut... but ANY job with benefits is better than NO job at all. The school is so small, they have one classroom per grade. At least I have the summer to figure out what to teach to K-3... I haven't had students that young in a LONG time.

I'm guessing K-3 means 4-5ish year olds through 7-8 year olds.
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

K-3 means Kindergarten through 3rd grade... roughly 5-9 years old, give or take a bit young and retained so older. This year I had 4th graders (10 yrs old) for the first time since I was subbing; middle school and high school is what I'm used to.

Where does middle school begin and where does it end..? I'm not familiar with the American system :)

Here we have 'basisschool' (primary school) where kids go from the age of 4 till the age of 12. Then they go to 'voortgezet onderwijs' (high school) until they're at least 16 (medium level), until they're 17 (higher level) or 18 (preparing them for university).
