I got into BJDs after attending a cosplay picnic last August. Since then, I fell in love with the BBB/RS Mei sculpt, hesitated about the price, started looking at obitsus, hesitated again, and finally went back to my first love when I found a second-hand Mei on eBay. I got her in November and she has become the princess of my bedroom (despite Little Ari having been brought home to serve as the doll version of my DnD character--sorry, my little one just does NOT act the way a paladin should!)
Aside from Little Ari and my three pet rats who like to keep me up all night and yet are still pudgy and adorable, I live with my family here in Suffolk. I have a BA English and a MA Education, and I now work as a library page shelving books for minimum wage. But I try to stay positive! I routinely enjoy going to anime conventions and Renaissance Faires in cosplay, and I enjoy sewing, crafting, and armoring (with real metal) on the side. Because of that, almost all of Little Ari's clothing and accessory wardrobe has been entirely hand made by myself.
I'm hoping to get a boy doll for Little Ari soon as she's very lonely (though she might get jealous if my attention is divided!). I have my heart set on a light tan BBB/RS Song with long red hair. Until then, she'll just have to content herself with her friends, who she gets to see when we take weekend trips to CT--My boyfriend's dolls Liddell (a Delilah Noir) and Lacey (a 27cm obitsu), and my friend's doll Sapphire (a Delilah Noir).
