I have an iPrecious I type on more than I read on. Lets me keep the same format when syncing. But it's also got me reading some things I've always meant to and never got around to.

I can see the benefits to an open platform because if something's only on Kindle or Nook you might be stuck :/

Kindle is the only one that is proprietary which is why I didn't get it. I have the black and white Nook too. I'm really liking it.

That's good to know about the Kindle, figures the only two books I've bought are both Kindle.

Not jinxing but hopefully rejoicing that our forebber home search may be over now that we've been inside a four bedroom, which means the dolls can have their own room, place on Riverwalk. Still a Christopher connection with the whole Little Walken thing. Poor house was crying out 'wash me' because the previous tenants were pigs but I can paint and carpet any way I want. I wonder what kind of carpet to put in the doll's room?

I just hope the owner got my forum posts about my address because I was having issues with mail again :( I've switched to g-mail now for all my shopping stuff. According to the owner of my house because the zip and street is right she should get here :) People at the post office know and are also watching for it  sooo excited

*deep breath* I finally finished reading The Wise Man's Fear. I love Patrick Rothfuss's books. I waited for that one for so long, and it did not disappoint. Now I just have to wait for the next one.

And in the meantime, stage some picture of my hardbacks and my doll of Bastas for the photo contest. Don't even know what the prizes are. But I've got both hardcovers and a doll so I've got to do something, right? XD

....Oh my god book. *would hug it but was reading the nook version on the laptop because the actual hardcover is so unweildy to haul around*

While it hasn't been the greatest day, the lovely UPS tracking system shows me that all will be well when I get home, as a lovely BBB sprite will be awaiting me so she can be freed from her cardboard prison.
Now all I await is the lovely can of clear spray so I can find out if what creativity lurks in my mind will actually translate into even a small bit of talent in this wonderful hobby. *crosses fingers*
